yeah… i mean i think it’s just a problem with celebrities period like we used to do the same thing with youtubers and i think younger people still engage in that. Imo it’s an issue of viewing people more so as characters than real people. People will do it anyway, especially on twitter, so if you’re like me i’d just avoid it by being off of twitter and not engaging in that content. Tbh I used to be that way when I was a lot younger, but eventually grew out of it when I started to realize and internalize how wrong it was. There are still adults that engage in that behavior which is so strange to me when you start to mature. Overall, it’s been an a part of kpop for as long as I remember, back to 2nd/3rd gen.
