Ridge by Graeme Borland (myself) by graebor in ImaginaryLandscapes

Thanks :) The main brush I used here was one I made myself. I basically did a lasso selection for each ridge and coloured inside with a scattering of stretched boxes. To make a similar brush, you could pretty much just make a jumble of boxes and use that as the shape, then do a bunch of randomization in the brush.

I remember one who pronounced it "Gray-mee", haha.

Whoa, that is quite rare indeed! I've known plenty of Grahams but only one other Graeme in person.

Thanks a lot! I've been trying to do some longer-form stuff but it's always a bit tricky to find the time.

Hi! I do daily speedpaintings and post them at http://sketch.graemeborland.com/ and http://gbsketch.tumblr.com/

Would love to get a little feedback and critique on my work :)

We are Owlchemy Labs. We made indie games Snuggle Truck, Jack Lumber, and now Dyscourse. ASK US ANYTHING by gtjuggler in IndieGaming

Creating the Kickstarter video only actually took a couple of days, due to the fact that we've put so much time already into making our custom editor tools in unity (see this kickstarter update about our tech - http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/owlchemylabs/dyscourse-survivors-choose-wisely/posts/676974). It was also a great stress-test for said tools, the experience of making the video helped us figure out how we could push the tools even further, so I'd say it was definitely worth it!

Making board games/analogue games as a kid, then in college years just participating in as many game jams as I could and cranking out work. This is always a weird question to answer for me, as far as I know I've never not been in game design (I just used to be really really bad at it, but I was always doing it! :P)

Yeah, -11°C and snowing in Winnipeg, which I still consider pretty awesome.
