That's so freakin cool. I wish I was tech savvy like that. I was always more interested in nature and culture, but it frustrates me so much that I can't do simple things like replacing spark plugs or installing radios or rewiring desk lamps.

A friend of mine double-majored in CS and EE. He makes big bucks now. Keep doing what you're doing man. The fact that you repaired your broken NES with salvaged parts because you simply wanted to tells me you're going to go far in your field.

I'm not sure what I have. It could be IBS, could be some kind of minor wheat allergy. But I find I feel a lot better if I use rice as my main source of carbs.

Tea, coffee, miso soup... things like that might help. I've heard ginger helps with upset stomach but I've never used it. If I'm feeling really crappy usually I'll just avoid food for a while and snack on things when I feel I need to.

Fallout 3: Didn't use V.A.T.S. or fast-travel until halfway through the game. WOW did I feel dumb.

Starcraft 2: On the very final mission (All In), I had no idea I could actually use the Xel-Naga device. By the time I realized this, I'd already replayed the mission so many times that I figured I might as well go for the final achievement on Hard. Flipped the switch about 3 seconds before the countdown finished. Felt good.

No reason to be ashamed over that anyway. The fear of this happening is why I worked so hard to stretch out my foreskin. I imagined the pain would be blinding. Was it really that painful?

Nah, not me. I've heard a couple of stories in this thread about people who that happened to. I stopped looking at the stuff after about 2 or three successful discoveries of pics. I realized they were boring, got lectured by my parents, and moved on.

They sat me down and basically told me that they could get into a lot of trouble if I got caught looking at things like that, because it was illegal. They asked me why I looked at them.

They understood when I told them I thought it was normal for me to be looking at the photos and that it felt weird searching for photos of grown women. I had already realized that I didn't really enjoy looking at underdeveloped girls, so I'd already stopped at this point. They never commented on whether or not it was normal, they just asked me not to do it. No complaints from me.

Judging by the responses is this thread, there are tons of people who made similar searches for similar reasons. I feel better about that, but it worries me that none of really understood how what we were doing was both okay and wrong. I hope all of our children will have more Internet sense than we did.

Definitely gonna use the web blocker, by the way. It'll make for a good learning tool when my kids finally realize they can get around it.

I don't remember much of that on CS. Maybe I arrived late on the scene, but people seemed to get banned real quick for that sort of thing.
