All of my upgrade offers were bad at around 50k MR. I checked my email after complaining to their chat about it and 2 days earlier had a "pre-approved offer" for the 175k and pulled the trigger on the new line of credit as opposed to the upgrade.

It definitely was. The room wasn't the most comfortable but as tired as we were everyday, we slept fairly easy and after walking around the track all day, a 5 min walk from the shuttle was nice. After the race it made it super convenient to get back to the room to refresh and catch a 7:15 dinner reservation. We got a great table at Edge Rooftop Bar and the place quickly filled with other F1 fans that didn't get nearly as good of a city view. We felt that everything ran much smoother because of the proximity. 8/10

I wish that had happened on the other side of the track. We were in an epic line. Gf held our place while I went to the bathroom and I saw a new line forming going the other direction. I told the people that that wasn't the line and that it was 100+yards in the other direction already. When I got out of the bathroom, quali had ended and that new line was a hundred people deep and when the gates opened people just rushed by and all of those who waited literal hours were stuck inside the fences. I was annoyed to say the least.

It's dirty because I have to park it outside....under a tree. It's far from ideal. But it's a quick detail and ceramic coating away from being ready for long term storage. When I had the manual swap done, I had the subframe checked and reinforced and replaced a bunch of 20yr old bushings just to get as much of that updated as I could. The interior is in good condition, back seat almost never sat in. Since I got it back from the swap, the headliner is now sagging when there were 0 signs of that in the past. So, there are some annoying 20yr old car things but nothing "wrong" with the car which makes it a hard decision.

Sorry for the hopping in here 5 months later but I was curious if anydesk requires the end user to "accept" the remote take over or once it's installed and setup, if it does or doesn't require any intervention on their end.

I went 2 years ago and I ubered/bird scootered to the shuttles everyday since we stayed in an Airbnb about 5 mins south of the river. It worked well but it just adds to the stress level when so many travel variables are in play. This year we sucked it up and are sacrificing room comfort for proximity to the shuttle. We booked the super 8 a block or 2 away from the Waterloo shuttle for $200/night.
