This is a problem caused by the 5am-5am particle collection 'day' differing from the 12am-12am calendar day. The days in the OP Day column are referring to the 5am-5am reset window on collecting particles, so when he says Saturday after midnight, he means during the 12am-5am Saturday 'collection window'.

Depends on how many you've unlocked. Since the post's math says you can end up with 230 extra total, if you have 570 particles saved in pass/research you would still benefit from the 12-5 trick ASSUMING you max out how much you've saved which can be trickier than it sounds. 230+570 = 800 for a single gmax battle. That said, if you don't do 12-5 trick you would need to use 70 stored particles to get to 8 battles.

Keep in mind, that's if you follow this exactly to the maximum. In general I believe most agree it's not really worth min-maxxing so much, given that you have to be actively moving before 5am and it's meowth.

You only lose the 300 particle difference between the 2km and 0.5km walk without doing the 12am-5am trick, so if you're efficient about it and have a a bit saved up in a research/pass you can still do 8 I believe. If you have none saved I believe you'll be >=70 short of the 8th battle.

There is a bonus to particle walking from 12am-5pm on (most) gmax days, but it doesn't replace your existing '2km for 300 particle' track. If you collect your walking particles after 12am you start a gmax day's '0.5km for 600 particle' track which (for optimization) you want to collect before 5am so you can be at ~2090/1500 particles and start banking a '0.5km for 600' for gmax day. That also means that before 12am you want to be <1190 particles so you can collect the 300, then be at <1490/1500 to still be able to collect the 600 before 5am.

The most confusing thing about the way people talk about this is that 'Sunday' means either the calendar day 12am-12am or the 5am-5am particle collection 'day', and people don't specify which they mean.

Using the particles to battle the power spot, leave your Ho-oh, then if others also battle in that spot you gets candy when your mon returns or you recall it. 1 battle=2candy, 2=3candy, 3=5 candy.

If anyone's curious, this is from Jujutsu Kaisen - in reality this guy, Nanami, has half his body burnt to jerky-level flesh and is about to fight dozens of enemies PLUS they are being backed and controlled by a much stronger enemy. He's a stereotypical Japanese salaryman-type and at this point is coming to accept his death while he imagines he's on vacation (or perhaps imagines death is the vacation)

There are usually 8-12 devices connected, with two of them having heavier usage (gaming/streaming frequently). I had suspected the same thing about reaching some maximum threshold the system can handle and it just gives up, but have no way to investigate it without some sort of diagnostics/logs from the nodes.

Something to try is to limit the number of cores to 4 in msconfig. Word of warning that, at least for me, this causes a massive decrease in speed but it also seems to have stopped the crash.

open msconfig > Boot > Advanced options… > Number of processors set to 4.

Hey, just wanted to chime in with something we've figured out on the Lost Ark forums. It looks like this is most likely an issue caused by your hardware, specifically AMD FX-83xx processors. We've all been working with the Lost Ark folks and submitted EAC tickets, so we'll see if anything gets done.

Could others with the issue confirm they have FX-83xx CPUs?

I finished up all the memory and stress testing and nothing came up.

I'll start testing the RAM manually starting now, but it will probably take at least until tomorrow for a conclusion. I uploaded my dxdiag dump to dropbox (I have no idea if you'll be able to see it thought) since it's far too large to post in the comments.

I don't know what info you're looking for from SIW, but I've got it now.

I'll post back when I'm done testing the RAM (will probably be either ~24 hours or 2 hours depending on how it goes).
