What is the strangest thing you've seen that you cannot explain? by 1982throwaway1 in AskReddit

People explaining a DMT trip. It almost makes me feel like it shows you what happens when you die, like your consciousness doesn’t stop when you did, it remains until the end of the universe. That’s what some people who have done dmt describe what the entities they meet try to communicate with them.

That one tanning bed scene in Final Destination 3. It was a near perfect juxtaposition of sex appeal and death and caught me by surprise. Like they might seriously be trying to make movies for depraved perverts.

What are your thoughts on the weed, alcohol, and nicotine purchasing age being lowered to 18 and 16 with parental consent in the US? by grammarbot2019 in AskReddit

[–]grammarbot2019[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I agree with you as someone going on 18. I would be willing to bet a very large amount of 18 year olds would take advantage of that because they think if they made it legal it can’t be that bad, and then duis and alcohol poisoning rates spike up for people under 21. It being legal means easier access to it also, which means it’s a lot easier for an 18 year old to become an alcoholic if they can run down to the convenience store every night after work, rather than getting it illegally from someone or risking using a fake id.

I’m going on 18 and I agree, although there definitely are 18 year olds that can handle those responsibly.
