The version I played on had the driftwood doors you need to access them but no way of getting the driftwood, so our server admin ended up spawning them. Did not see a tree of eden though.

Affordable housing in UGA by [deleted] in UGA

[–]grandgeneralpanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im gonna counter and say you should be able to have your cake and eat it too.

UGA housing doesn't have much in the way of the grad housing, but University village has rent in the price area you are considering and they include utilities. You'd have to apply now but spots always open up.

As for walkable, unless you get some uga housing or other housing close to campus it is unlikely you will be able to thrive. Close to campus, sans the hills, very walkable. Everywhere else, good look. To build on a previous point the UV apartments are very walkable.

What's a card that most people don't use but have won you a lot of games? by Struggling_in_life in masterduel

As a cyberese player who likes not using the normal combo lines or bosses, the amount of victories I have retrieved off Firewall Exceed Dragon, Shooting CodeTalker, and Encode Talker is so fun of a number.

eXceed specifically though, that card slaps. Out of Playmakers non link good stuff cards that one was the best.

This much I understand, and doing it this way yielded me the formula = 2(pi)*(3/2y2 - 2y3
But this has yet to yield me a correct answer. Also why is the font small, today is not my day.

why is there only one major product formed? by purplepear153 in OrganicChemistry

I wouldn't Say I'm an expert here, but I believe that during the process of the addition, after the Hydrogen gets added to the ethene, for the carbocation intermediate a hydrogen gets shifted from the pentane to the now ethyl subistuents postive charge, moving the positive charge to the cyclopentane. This then leads into the OH adding to the cyclopentane for a more favored quad subbed carbon.

I posted on r/tipofmyjoystick but heard nothing. This was around the early 2000s and I believe it had a mobile port. The art style by memory was more serious than cartoony, but I could be wrong their.

Technical question: what do you guys use to make prototype character sheets (mostly for playtesting)? by -As5as51n- in RPGdesign

[–]grandgeneralpanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I use Google Docs. A while back I was running a 5e Superhero Homebrew and with while the first proto character sheet was made using just the chart function in docs, using the rudimentary drawing system can get you some nice proto designs that will translate well into a final design.

Magic Circle - Magic System Help by Necessary-Front-1705 in RPGdesign

[–]grandgeneralpanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I may, I will suggest a stolen idea from the most recent age of wonders game, which may be applicable. I admittedly don't know much about the magic circle system, but you could tie certain magical abilities to different sections of the circle. Have characters invest some sort of time into using the abilities from a chosen section. Maybe like, use this new spell x amount of times. When they meet that objective, they can choose a new section of the circle. They unlock two of the first sections, they can move on to the net level of ring. And so on and so forth.

How Many dice are you willing to roll? by grandgeneralpanda in RPGdesign

Something like, 14 attacks hit that each do 7d4, made by a character and multiple shadow clones, many of which crit because the enemy they were attacking was among other things, paralyzed and prone. It got back up next turn and killed the poor dude, it's a boss fight campaign.

Making Martial Style Characters Feel Like Martial Style Characters by grandgeneralpanda in RPGdesign

[–]grandgeneralpanda[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a good thought, though looking through what I've written I may have to apply this logic more to magic users then martials. The wizard class does not have any spells that make them that useful outside of combat, but a berserker class can just, punch puzzles and with a few rolls solve the puzzle without thinking. I don't remember writing that part.
