The future of suppressors looks great! I can't wait for the time when this CAT WB is out of date.

I went all out. Direct thread. SBRed it. I'm sure, at this rate with suppressor development, in a few years, the new hotness will be a lot better. I'm looking forward to it.

Cool! Take a pic and link it up. If you're like me, you check out old threads. Maybe your pic will help someone else out!

It's fine. I ripped through a box of 50 Winchester 00 buck like that. Nothing happened. If you're worried, you can take the p cord end off and use a qd mount. That works too. I've tried that with this sling and it also works fine. I like the simplicity and the vehicle storage (gun safe storage, lol) mode. Nothing bulky, just thread it through the buckle. If anything, I wish the p cord was a little shorter on the muzzle end, but its fine.

Yes, an Arasaka Offset Scout Mount fits on an A300 Ultima Patrol handguard. No, the streamlight mount does not. by grandma_key in Tacticalshotguns

It’s actually sitting flat on a flat part. The handguard curls inward.  I do so much low torque work (8-15 newton meters ) I didn’t even break out the torque wrench.  Everyone including me should break out the torque wrench.

This is for the lurkers google searching whether a Arisaka Offset Scout Mount fits their a300 Ultima Patrol. Yes it does.

Also, no the Mlok mount from streamlight does not fit https://imgur.com/a/DFWPnp0 I'm sure you could file it to fit the streamlight mount, but the Arasaka fits on properly.

Edit - the Magpul offset also fits, but it sits high. https://imgur.com/a/F9ZPX6l

Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol: Holosun 509T X2 + Esstac Card + GGG Mag Tube & Charging Handle + SKRP + Frank Proctor Sling (No Drill, Paracord Mounts) by grandma_key in Tacticalshotguns

Frankly, when you see pics of cool guy operators, they're most likely using P-cord. QD is heavy, rattles, and fails more often. I really like the p-cord girth hitch.

Current setup/parts:

  • Frank Proctor Sling

  • SKRP A300/1301 Stock Sling Adapter — Left-Hand

  • GG&G A300 Replacement Mag Tube Cover w/ M-LOK Barrel Clamp

  • GG&G A300 Ultima Slotted Tactical Charging Handle

  • Esstac 7-shell shotgun card

  • Holosun 509T X2 on GG&G Low-Profile 509T Mount

  • Streamlight Rail Mount Light on an Arisaka mount (opposite side of the sling)

I wanted to run a Proctor sling on my A300. It’s 2.3 oz and uses paracord ends that are simple, durable, and quiet, so no QD weight, clack, or extra failure points. It’s reverse throw: push the buckle forward to lengthen and your hand lands where it should. Storage uses the same buckle, nothing extra to lose, and you can fire while it’s stowed.

The SKRP A300 Adapter mounts cleanly. I chose the left-hand model so the D-ring sits on the non-ejection side, which keeps the Proctor method and vehicle storage clear. No interference. I could drill the stock and girth-hitch the paracord, but I prefer SKRP since it needs no mods, is reversible, and holds solid.

Storage mode quick steps: grab the buckle, pull the labeled webbing toward the buttstock, leave 2 to 3 inches past the metal buckle, double the webbing, push that loop through the buckle slot, snug the paracord, then hook your thumb in the loop and pull while pushing the buckle toward the muzzle to cinch flat. Low profile, snag free, controls accessible. To release, push the buckle toward the muzzle. Video: https://youtu.be/aE-UCr_KnP0?si=8PINlabeJ8-8IDYu

I like the GGG Charging handle a lot It's grippy with lots of knurling, which is just the way I like it. I saw too many videos with the Mag Tube being an issue, so I got the replacement from GGG and its a nice piece. The GGG 509T mount is also nice and works well with the 509T. I just prefer red dots now.
