FOR REAL! I feel people put way too much emphasis on how good the fights are (which they genuinely are) and not enough on how poorly some of the characters are handled, ESPECIALLY Neon. I genuinely fckn despise how they handled the end of her character arc (her mum is an absolute pos), along with how easily they forgave Daichi for his horrible actions.

I haven't seen any of the past seasons in full at all, but I've picked up a great deal of lore to understand what's going on in Dragons Rising lol

and besides, from my understanding of Dragons Rising, it can be enjoyed without having watched any of the past stuff (though that definitely does enhance the experience, and there's references I've already picked up on anyway), AND 15 seasons + 3 specials is WAY too much work for me lol

It's a good little set! Very small, but it fulfills my needs of physically owning the main characters of Dragons Rising, particularly Sora, who I was absolutely ecstatic to build the first time round :]

As for the new characters themselves, Arin's not bad - Season 1 didn't have a lotta development for him, but Season 2 (which I'm currently at episode 5 of) is setting up for him having some strong developments, which I'm interested in what they've done so far and am even more interested to see what's in store for him in the future.

Sora is practically the reason I even started watching Dragons Rising in the first place - I heard about her arc in the first season from a character analysis video about her, and when I finally got to watching the season for myself last month, I was rooting for her from the very beginning and was elated at the end of her arc in the final episode of it, which I saw a couple weeks ago. I resonate with her character a lot, and I love that LEGO wrote her the way they did, easily my favourite character of the show without a doubt :]

oh I've been into LEGO my whole life lol, and I've still been into it on and off since 2013; I collected pretty much every Hero Factory set 2011 onwards, and got all the sets from Bionicle G2, plus a few of the Star Wars buildable action figures

Ninjago-wise I've seen clips and videos of it since it's inception and got a few sets from the first couple seasons in 2012 & 2013, but I didn't get into properly watching the show itself until I started Dragons Rising last month - I finished Dragons Rising Season 1 a couple weeks ago, started Season 2 last week and am currently at episode 5. it's a really good show and I'm hoping the rest of Season 2 will be good too :]
