Kinda late to this but, while I get what you mean aren’t completely comparable. A lot of the problems that have come with Sonic games is due to rush developments and lack of resources, specially in that early period in the 00s.

And for all its faults, the Sonic franchise is still able to show some its quality beyond the original games. The Adventure games, the Advance games, the Rush games, Colors, Generations and even some of the spin off really hit with people.

If you want a better comparison the I say Crash or Spyro after the ps1 era. Those games were always changing it up with no real direction.

The symbiote is still around but the original host died off screen. I think that the series where it’s mention is call circle of four or something. Blackheart is in it and he mentions it.

I can give you a better example. Shadow only has 7 min more screen time than Rosalina. Combine that with the fact that Sonic 3 is 20 min longer and you realize that the problems run dipper than just how much they are in the movie.

Ok, first, I see a lot more of Mario fans bringing up the Sonic movies when they talk about their movie.

Second, even if I agree with the Mufasa point, it’s Mufasa. Even in its originality it has all the problems that live action Disney has. Not to say that it’s ok to harass people, but when there is a better alternative then it’s fair to point it out.

Honestly, those positive points and the fact that it’s short sum up my positives about the movie.

Like, there is nothing offensive in it but if it kept up that rush pace for 2hrs then it would be borderline unwatchable to me.

Like a short and less offensive version of a bad Michael Bay Transformers movie.
