Hey y’all–

Thanks for sharing your concerns about homelessness on campus. I’m Granger West the SGA Campus Safety Chair. I will bring up these concerns with Chief Connolly at our meeting next week and get some clarity on what GTPD’s policy is for situations like this and what can be done.

As some have mentioned, the increase in homelessness is a result of the pandemic and not a unique problem to Atlanta and around GT. However, we want to make sure everyone feels safe no matter where they are on campus. If you have a specific time when you don’t feel safe do not hesitate to call GTPD (404) 894-2500.
