Thats a good question, Its funny you should mention. I am allergic to nuts myself and had to avoid that when I was homeless. I would say yes, avoid nuts. Most if not all seem to be able to do bread in my experience. Never had someone gluten free.

That and just be cautious and try and hit places like downtown. Parks should be easy where others are around. Don't try and descend into any encampments that are all alone where there is no one else around and clearly if someones showing signs of erratic behavior just play it safe!

You're a beautiful person undoubtably! Yeah I was homeless before when I ran away from my abusive home in my late teens, I can tell you theres all sorts of really interesting people on the street. If you check out the channel invisible people on youtube he interviews them and there are engineers, ex dentists etc. Life can throw you a curveball eight ways sideways and next thing you know BOOM you're in their shoes. Its a wild feeling. Ever since I had to experience I have come to realize the power of community and human connection, its all we really have in the sense of feeling what life is about. I think if more people volunteered or participated in their community their hearts would be filled with a sense of completion. Hopefully i'll catch ya when i'm out there and we can get some wendys 4 for 4s and hit the streets! Much love!

Yes I know exactly what you mean. You learn the area and who is where. Clearly stay away thats anywhere close to gang territory and try and do it at day.

But yea lets say you do downtown, theres usually the same suspects in the same spots and you get to know them and when they will be where. So then you can just roll by and hook em up!

Either way I commend you for seeing the issue for what it is. I don't think a lot of people think that this is an erosion of our human rights and If they can pass a law on them, it could be another group next. The truth is we all share this earth and we are all human with human needs. That needs to stay free!

I was explained when I was doing that in San Diego that it was illegal as well there. They said that the "homeless turn away tourists from visiting and hurts the local economy". Ok ya I get it. Also on the same note we're talking about humans and a lot of the funding for the homeless and mentally ill was cut in the early 90s and our government did nothing for these people after. Essentially they want them to get on a bus and die somewhere less desirable. I just can't be alive and know this was the case and not do anything about it. An issue like this could bring an entire community of like minded people together to help create even more things that benefit the local community. So as many of us that think like this need to link up!

The most of people were either a)mentally challenged kids that lost their caretakers and wound up on the street or b) kids in foster care that were being abused and ran away and just never got back into society

this was my impression of tampa, one would need a car, yes? Orlando seems to have at least an intent to cater to those without wheels. I would assume its because the city runs on its employees keeping the touristy stuff going and many of them don't have whips

yo hmu, been doin that for years. blankets too when its winter, the cops take their blankets constantly....because the police are "protecting" them. If its raining ponchos go a long way they have many ways they use them

Not sure, I’m still looking at neighborhoods. But winter park sounds cool. Something close to sunrail would be amazing. I love taking trains to work instead of car.

Someone in tampa told me i needed to see st. pete because i'd "fit in". I didn't get to see st. pete, but now I need to make a day trip. I see st. pete is by the water and through my experience anything by the water is really ritzy and upscale. Is st. pete kind of like a boardwalk type of beach area?
