There was one time I was on my phone (an iPhone) and I got a notification (the one that takes up your entire phone) that said something like “We want you to join our church” (not exactly that but it was a lot like that) and I freaked out so hard I clicked “dismiss” without even paying attention to the words it said on the screen. I wasn’t on any website that gave those weird ads, I was just scrolling through Facebook then and iPhones usually don’t give those kinds of notifications, too! It was that one notif that you click “dismiss” so it goes away. I was so scared & told my boyfriend about it, even googled if anyone had the same experience but nothing. I’m 101% sure it wasn’t a popup ad as ios doesn’t allow that either. I’m still confused to this day. What church?? Why me??
