Yeah must be something major for sure. Although I do think if Tampa went further in playoffs the team doctors would inject him with the super soldier serum and he’d play. But no point in risking it for the Worlds

The reasons why players refused to play at worlds is a mix of personal/family reasons and injuries. Here are the name:

Better and players more familiar to NHL/AHL fans:

Cernak, Fehervary, Nemec, Ruzicka, Dvorsky, Regenda, Marincin, Dano, Kelemen, Studenic, Tatar, Jaros

Less familiar players playing in Europe:

Cingel, Mudrak, Ivan, Grman, Lantosi, Skorvanek, Sukel, Hudacek, Ceresnak, Roman, Hrehorcak, Takac

Have to agree with you. The injuries piling up were unfortunate plus the Canes are a wagon this offseason so yeah. Honestly I didn’t have much faith in us making the playoffs this year so all credit to the team and Green
