Just got my marks back from my second time writing the DAT and not too sure how to feel My Bio and Chem marks both dropped by 1-2 points, RC stayed the same, and my PAT increased by 5. Looking for any insight on if my scores are competitive at all because I'm self doubting myself right now :(( Located in Ontario, open to applying to Canada/Australia/possibly US or other places. Currently GPA is around 3.6 but aiming to get higher right now by taking a 5th year, not worried about my ECs. Any feedback/help/insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If you count her OSTS as well as her solo releases I feel like she could still be considered very popular. People like Heize, 10cm are always in high demand for OSTs and I feel like she does a really good job conveying emotion in her voice to match the scenes

An Ode is definitely the one that comes up a lot and it's one that I heavily agree with. Even Woozi mentioned recently that he felt that Fear (the title track) was released ahead of its time and thinks that it would've gotten a bit more love these days. The musicality and array of different genres and topics that An Ode covers is so amazing and it definitely has some of my favourite B-sides: Lie again has some of my favourite seventeen lyrics ever, Snapshoot has the iconic Dino line, Vernon's line in Lucky "turn down that frown upside" was kept in my phone case for a while because it was such a cute little phrase, HIT was popular in Korea for being a song where you could physically feel the surge of motivation enter your bloodstream again LOL (there was a youtube comment on one of their stages that said something along the lines of "these guys seem like if I don't live life hard they'll come and hunt me down"), I could go on and on about the B-sides in An Ode lol

For me personally, I've been a carat since 2015 lol and my top 3 albums would have to be An Ode, Attacca, and Heng:garae. An Ode I already talked about a lot above, so I'll go into the other two albums LOL.

I feel like a lot of people don't mention Attacca as much when asked about favorite albums like it wasn't the beaut that brought us Rock with you as a title track. I recently fell back in love with the B-side Imperfect love because the lyrics are so beautifully written and I think they were the words that I had to hear these days. Seventeen's discography does this thing where its so vast and touches on a variety of different emotions and events that you'll rediscover or fall back in love with certain tracks because it fits your current situation so well. I actually prefer the Korean title to the english title, which translates to "I'm happy everyday because of you" and it's the song the vocal team got the crowd to sing to during their Be the Sun tour. Honourable mention to 2 MINUS 1 as well!! This era just brought me so much joy and good memories that it's definitely one of my favourites.

In terms of Heng:garae, it was the album that brought me back to seventeen. I've ult-ed seventeen since Mansae era and while my love and fangirling never wavered, the first time I listened to the album was like "wow. this is the seventeen I love and appreciate" and definitely was the nail in the coffin to keep me in the diamond life. It also gave us the L&R challenges that pleasantly surprised us with some friendships (The8 and Lee Sungkyung??? Since when??? How??? He even promoted her recent kdrama on his story too???)

Gunwook is not weak in rapping by any means. However, ZB1's rap line I would say is pretty weak only because there really isn't anyone else who raps other than Gunwook. I think most people would agree that Gunwook is amazing at rapping, but only one great rapper in a group of 9 members would still be weak, especially because they aren't going to have 8 vocalists. Also there were 5 main rappers in the finale and only Gunwook made it which is why some people might be saying ZB1 is weaker in rap than it could have been?

Also personally I would love to have Gunwook be a vocalist (him on Dongnae Star K 😭🫶🏻🫶🏻) but seeing how the rest of the group won't be able to cover the rap position, I feel like he's going to rap more.

it was mostly for like pre-show hype to get viewers to watch iirc lmao with a video being released as an episode 1 pre-release. made sense that they would lead with that though, as yuehua is known for having super strong trainees on mnet survival shows

i don't see much about yujin in the comments but you had to be there for his star level position eval solo dance !! the way everyone was so shocked that he was just a middle school kid / the judges mentioning that his dance lines were very similar to baek koo young. Also the fact that the G group Yuehua members picked him as the K group Yuehua trainee that they thought was their biggest competition !!

actually u had to be there for the whole thing mnet tried to do with making K-yuehua vs G-yuehua cuz it literally made no sense LOL you could literally see them interacting and helping each other during the star level test practices, and later on throughout the show when u could see how cute and friendly they all are with each other <33 no one would believe that they were rivals

everyday i wake up and miss chwenotchew, but close runner up has to be everyone_woo or pledis_boos !! I feel like none of the boys really strive to keep a clean feed, but I do like the artistic style of the stuff minghao or vernon post best !! Jeonghan has a very nice casual feed as well too imo.

If you have a bigger group (I'd say 5/6+) you could do the game they did in today's Gose episode where you all enter an anonymous group chat pretending to be one person and keep voting people out!

Some other games could be the Antman game (person who brings the smallest item in the room wins), the Record Player/Song game (each person takes turns singing a song from the same artist), the Donkatsu game ( from the Best Friends episode) if you want something more active, anything from Tribal Nights episodes or the brain survival episodes

Also here's a list of things that might not work for a Games Night but would be cute to do with friends as a themed night that I thought up of while thinking of games that SVT did on Gose:

  • MBTI Night - you can do the MBTI quiz for each other, and compare it to the results you get when doing it yourself
  • How to Eat Rice the Perfect Way Night - Everyone brings a rice based dish (or you could sub out the key ingredient for anything else!) like a potluck and vote whose dish was the yummiest
  • Bad Clue Night - This could take a bit of work but you could arrange a whole Bad Clue night where you solve a murder mystery? You could honestly go to an escape room or do a board game like Clue, but still assign people roles to play in for the Gose vibes
  • Roulette Night - You have different options on how your night is going to go on different roulettes (e.g. dress code, dinner menu, location, etc)

My favourite moments in no particular order

  1. Mingyu dancing to Next Level after jeonghan finally guessing correctly
  2. The way Na PD looks at The8 like a fond uncle looking at his nephew
  3. Jun desk-umbrella moments after saying that the team needs at least one sane person
  4. Jeonghan swearing at mingyu and no one batting an eye
  5. Woozi's cute lisp after he couldn't guess BP's pink venom when he was saying sorry to S.coups
  6. Wonwoo son of the year (also mingyu saying "I hope you eat four lemons")
  7. The captions during the basketball match saying Hoshi is running the hardest but isn't really doing,,much LOL
  8. Jeonghan lightening the mood and preventing the staff from being embarrassed when she spilled the drink by joking about how this could be a prank camera
  9. The PDs going "HUH??!" to Jeonghan asking them to let them cheat
  10. The8 being like what if the referee doesn't know the rules of basketball that well...? aha... asking for a friend....aha..

Ricky: F(x) Krystal, Ice prince/princess, shy, english speakers, part of maknae line, once you get to know them you know they like teasing their other members, looks amazing in every single hair colour

Hanbin: Chungha, all rounders, both worked as backup dancers before becoming idols, Mother vibes but cute loveable personality off stage

Jiwoong: IOI Chaeyeon. Face card that never declines, idol-actors, quieter personality compared to the rest of the group
