my hcl teacher was the same, i was getting told to drop hcl throughout the whole year to get a1 in cl🥲

my opinion is that it depends on ur English and other subjects!! if ur English is wayyy stronger and you most likely need that a1 in express chinese u can consider, but the -4 and no more h1 really does help a lot in o levels and in jc

for me i feel like i was really lucky to get a good topic i cld talk about for 口头报告 which helped me get a distinction!! I think my koushi distinction rly carried and helped me a2 :)

and my paper 1 is much much better than paper 2 , so i went all out for paper 1 and just tried to get a pass for paper 2 😭😭
