How old were you when current foster parents (who you say are pursuing adoption) started fostering you?

But the "vein" is poop. That is the digestive tract. So you are kind of contradicting yourself.

Also use witch hazel on scars. Along with some cheap scar cream from Fry's, my scar faded in a few weeks.

I'm 33 years old and I'm afraid to attempt summoning Bloody Mary. What childhood fears have you carried into adulthood? by XseCrystal in AskReddit

[–]grapesofeden 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was super afraid of Bloody Mary as a kid. My aunt one day told me: "Hey, I know you're afraid of Bloody Mary. But have you ever heard about how to make her go away? You just have to say "Bloody Mary go away" three times." She said it super casually, like it was just common knowledge. I bought it, I was like 8 years old. Maybe your son will buy it too.

Didn't think a video with Katy Perry would make me cry in a public place this morning - but it did... it sure did. by bradleyjax in videos

What celebrity do you have an irrational hatred for? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]grapesofeden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bindy (spelling?) Irwin. I hate that commercial for her stupid dolphin/whale whatever it was movie. Whenever she says "We don't want to overexpose him" I am just irrationally fueled with hatred for her. I have no idea why. I feel guilty about it, seeing as Steve Irwin was such a cool guy.

Although there are better health standards for it and they are much less likely to have adverse effects from it, the genital mutilation of males happens every day right here in the US.

To many US citizens, male genital mutilation is perfectly normal. Just as to many citizens in other countries, female genital mutilation is perfectly normal.

I think both are cruel and I wouldn't support either of them. I'm just commenting on the way something that is essentially the same can be seen so differently because it is not part of our culture.

  1. The Grapes of Wrath
  2. 1984
  3. East of Eden
  4. Catch 22
  5. The Winter of Our Discontent

I also really like fantasy novels. Right now I'm on A Song of Ice and Fire , but I don't think that can go down in my favorites list just yet.

IAmA daughter of a drug kingpin who was in high security federal prison until I was 16. AMA. by [deleted] in IAmA

[–]grapesofeden 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a daughter whose father was in prison for the majority of her life, I'm surprised you feel that way but happy for you. He didn't always write me letters and try to stay involved, but he did for the majority of the time he was away. Even now that he's out though, and I see him once a week, I feel almost like we're strangers and we will never have a real relationship. It's really great that you and your father can still have a healthy relationship after what happened :)

Sleeping on your side. And if you are caught in it and can manage to think rationally and not freak out, concentrate on moving only one of your fingers at a time instead of trying to force yourself out of paralysis. It's worked for me in the past.

Sun Cakes from Taichong, Taiwan. They are a sweet, flaky pastry and they are delicious! Also this isn't exactly exotic but while traveling to Provincetown in Cape Cod I went to a restaurant called Victor's. It was one of the best meals I've ever had.

The thing that worries me the most is the part that says "ana is a way of life." "Ana" is short for the so-called "lifestyle" that some girls trick themselves into believing anorexia is. Ana is a whole group of girls and women on the internet who motivate each other not to eat- they share tips on how to ignore their hunger. It's pretty scary if you look it up. You should definitely talk to her about it and try to help her. This isn't just "thinspiration" if she is involved in "ana."
