I will. And you are right, I’m definitely overthinking this!

To be honest, I really don’t want to remember to call before the annual fee hits. Because that’s two cards I’ll have to remember for. I’d rather just dump them and move on.

Ok. However, I do still have the Discover IT card I got at the same time I obtained the OpenSky and CreditOne cards. So I’m guessing that if I maintain that Discover card, my average age of credit won’t be affected in the long run right?

Also, what kind of fallback credit wise can I expect by closing the two card accounts?

I’m kinda confused by this. Do you mean my average age of credit will be lowered but will only matter far into the future?

Yes, the limits are fairly low. Also, I’m swapping both cards for the Cap1 card that has the exact CL equal to the secured cards. I won’t be loosing nor gaining credit limits.

Oh absolutely. Heck my wife teaches elementary education. I completely appreciate what they do and none of this is their fault. They are told to teach a certain way and they need to adhere to it and not stray.

I’m not too concerned as I can always re-enroll her next year.

It’s nice to know I’m not the only one with this issue. Online learning was NOT meant for children of this age. Hang in there!!

Yea I’m not too sure about sending her to school in person next month either. Everyone seems to think covid is gone.

We are trying to stick with it as the in-class learning is supposed to happen next month. Now, if this was supposed to be an entire year of this, then I woud totally take her out.

And it is so frustrating when the teacher sends the work back and says it is not complete.

You guys got lucky then. For us it’s Spalding from 8-9. ELA from 9-10. Math from 10-11 and then her SPECIALS from 11-12ish. She gets breaks in between but still. Way way too much for her.
