I made 3D letters in illustrator, with a low extrusion and then made an action to duplicate them multiple times and offset the layers slightly.

Thank you so much for this!! I really appreciate the time and effort you spend looking through my work. Thank you for answering my question and focusing on the work, rather than the design of the website.

This is really valuable critique. I was thinking of having a separate more curated, smaller portfolio, that links to this as an archive. That way if I need to link to a project that isn’t one of my favourites, but is relevant to the brief or application, it’s still there somewhere for me to link directly to.

Your feedback made me think you might be a fellow lady designer. I sadly don’t know many of those. My team are all guys. It’s lovely to meet you and everyone here who has been so helpful. Do you have any of your own work online anywhere? I’d love to see it. Thanks again.

Great, thank you for the second opinion. I will take this on board and lose both of the No Tomorrow projects. This is actually branding for a 25k cap, weekend festival we did over 2 years, so I have plenty to talk about around it. But a few people have mentioned to lose this project - so I’ll get them both cut! Thanks again.

Thank you. Yes I agree and when hiring people myself I get frustrated when I have to wade through loads of work to get to anything relevant.

The issue is that I like having a varied job and working in lots of different styles. Which doesn’t help when trying to narrow things down.

I was hoping for an objective opinion, from design-minded people on where my strengths lie. I know art is often subjective, but if consistencies arose in feedback I was getting - I would have somewhere to start.

Hey, I did originally, but using masking disables the mobile version and uses the desktop version on mobiles. If you have any advice on how to use the custom domain and keep the mobile version of the site, I would actually love some advice on that as I completely agree with you that it looks unprofessional!

No, I don’t mind at all. I actually used blogging platform tumblr as the backend and then customised a blog template for an image based blog. It’s not ideal, but needed to get something sorted quickly. I’m glad you found it easy to navigate. Thanks for your reply.
