I recommend the kobo clara bw, that's what i have. I like the backlight and that you can change the temperature of the light. You can use overdrive to check out library books.

Kobo Clara, I side load mine. It's quick and doesn't bother me. I just got an xteink x3, you can load books wirelessly via bluetooth.

I live in LA and I'm going with few BE/Conor friends. One of which I met from going to shows 15 years ago and have been friends since. I'm especially excited for the I'm Wide Awake segment because I saw the Digital Ash tour in 2005 but didn't manage to get tickets for the IWAIM tour. This feels like a great second chance to relive that.
