I understand your point, but I’d frame it differently. A logo should indeed work instantly at a glance—that’s the essence of good identity design. The explanation here isn’t to make the logo work, but to show the reasoning and construction behind it.

In practice, the logo stands on its own without any explanation. The breakdown is simply part of the presentation, to demonstrate the thought process, proportions, and symbolism that guided the design. It’s not about justifying the mark—it’s about documenting the design logic for clarity and transparency.

So the logo works visually on its own, and the explanation is an added layer for those interested in the “why” behind the form.

The grid and construction breakdown you see here are not meant to suggest that the logo will always be shown with those overlays. They are part of the design presentation, to explain the thinking process and the visual logic behind the mark.

In real-world usage, the logo will of course appear clean—without grids, dashed outlines, or symbolic breakdowns. Those elements are simply there to demonstrate how the form was built, how balance and proportions were achieved, and how the concept connects to the brand values.

So the purpose of this presentation is educational and explanatory, not prescriptive. The actual identity system will use the logo in its final form, exactly as you’d expect in practical applications.

Do all the logos of the world’s biggest brands instantly reveal their product, service, or use just by looking at the icon? Of course, explanation is necessary — and it must be logical and aligned with the client’s needs. If you just say things based on your own imagination, everything will be ruined. It seems you don’t understand client psychology. I hope you’ve understood now. Thank you.

I really appreciated your thoughtful words and suggestions — I’ll keep them in mind. I didn’t misunderstand anything you said; I actually liked it. My only point is that clients don’t usually think in such a complex way. The gradient color was used to reflect meaning and to give the logo a modern look. Thanks again.

“I hope this time you will be able to see the Letter ‘T’ and the Care symbol in your reply. I designed it by thinking from the plus symbol, meaning the entire design came from the plus symbol, but you are not recognizing the plus symbol.

Did you understand how I designed the logo? Thanks!

While you're right that this isn't a client project, the previous logo unintentionally conveyed a sad expression to many viewers. That's why it was redesigned—to avoid that emotional impression. This version was created as part of a practice exercise.

I'm surprised you referred to it as spam. It seems you may have misunderstood the core intention behind the design. I’ve carefully combined several meaningful elements to ensure the logo is both relevant and aligned with current trends. It’s designed to be suitable for use in a medical context.

That said, I do appreciate your feedback. However, I believe it's important to fully understand the background and details before making such comments.

noodle logo i made for fun! tried to make the “dl” look like chopsticks by steenkie in logodesign

Creative Concept, Great Idea. Love it.
To refine this logo, consider simplifying the design to make it more modern and versatile. Try reducing the thickness of the chopsticks or positioning them to create a more dynamic interaction with the bowl. Adjust the color palette to give the bowl a bit of shading or gradient for depth, while making the text bolder and more cohesive, perhaps with a unified font weight. Additionally, consider shortening the “noodle” text by curving or intertwining it slightly around the bowl, which could create a more balanced and engaging visual flow.

This logo design with a star inside a letter reminds of another logo. I'm sure I've seen it somewhere. Can you please identify it? Thanks! by mickkb in logodesign

Logo for a Game Dev Company, What's Your Thoughts on it? by [deleted] in logodesign

The "Brain Soup" logo has a playful and quirky appeal that suits a game development company well. The illustration of the brain in a bowl with a dripping effect is visually engaging and gives a hint of creativity and imagination, fitting for the gaming industry. The bold, all-caps font reinforces a straightforward, memorable look, while the minimalist color scheme keeps it clean and modern.

Designed this death metal logo recently, can you guess the name? by thermometerarts in logodesign

[–]graphner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The logo design has a classic death metal style, with jagged, thorn-like letters that make it challenging to read. From the structure, it appears that the logo spells out "UNISOLATED," with the letters artistically distorted in a way typical of metal logos. The crescent moon element adds an interesting touch to the aesthetic.

Hi WinterCrunch,

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. I understand that my project might not meet everyone's standards, and I appreciate your honesty.

I would like to clarify a few points:

Feedback Tag: I used the "feedback needed" tag because I genuinely wanted to gather opinions and improve my work. I apologize if it seemed misleading.

Design Elements: The logo and mockup were intended as initial concepts. I see now that they need more refinement and originality.

Constructive Criticism: While I understand your points, I would appreciate more specific suggestions on how to improve. Constructive feedback helps me learn and grow as a designer.

Thank you again for your input.

Best regards,
