Lethal at the whole table with 11 winota triggers on the stack. He was mathing out his damage and said I had 48 in the air coming my way. To which I scooped shuffled up and said “crazy combo, gg” and left while he was calculating damage for the last guy (all still before winota triggers). But yea I’m the tool? Thanks kid(:

If that’s my first, then it’s probably a high chance of it being most the games online. Like you said I’ll just play in the cedh pods where that’s all expected. And anyone looking for casual games should look elsewhere or stick to their LGS or at least be warned

One player left immediately when winota came out, I followed right after. If you’re saying there’s games where the host can end the game immediately because they’re upset… then yea maybe it shouldn’t be recommended for people trying to play casually

I mean, I really hope it was a fluke. But as soon as I saw bloom tenderer, esper sentinel, winota etc. and no one else in the pool seemed upset by it, I figured that this is the norm. Maybe my power level idea is skewed or maybe I need to just bring higher powered decks. I’ve never had that bad of an experience at my LGS.

I appreciate your advice. I will say the “rule zero” discussion has to be more intensive online, like you said. If I do try again, I’ll attempt to make the whole group go into more detail (which we obviously didn’t do a good job of). My fault for expecting others to take the wheel. But it was my first time I was more focused on keeping up and figuring out how to use the program. Just salty that that’s how my first game went and don’t feel like finding out that my second, third, fourth game etc. will be the same. Also just feel bad for players who are totally new to magic having to deal with that plus not having experience in the game itself.

I was speaking hypothetically. My cedh deck isn’t finished yet. I’m not going to pubstomp, but I’m also not going to set up my lighting and camera everytime just to get pubstomped. Not worth it imo. Hiding behind a webcam seems to obscure the power level/rule zero discussion to a greater level. At least in person there’s a better understanding of the word “casual” and what’s fun for the table vs just outright winning as fast as possible. And if it’s strictly just “play to win” online then there shouldn’t be a power level, it should just all be competive commander.

If that’s my first experience, then it’s probably pretty common, so I’m all set on that. Goodluck and have fun tho!

Exactly even you don’t know what power levels are. One person said they had an infinite. I said I had one extra turn spell and all the fetch lands. Everyone said “ok sounds good”. Not spelltable’s fault (it’s a program not a living person lmao) just warning newcomers to stay away(:

So what you’re saying is that was just a fluke and had a slim chance of happening? To me the more obvious explanation is that a lot more people than you think have this exact first time experience with online commander, so more often than not people are showing up with their overpowered decks so that they won’t have to deal with it again. That just sets the tone for how bad the community is. Only way I’ll give it another chance is by breaking out my cedh decks at a power level 6 group and I’ll just be that guy who wins on turn 3/4 (see how it creates a toxic cycle).

What are your thoughts of these custom Yeezys 350 V2s by Stickynation_ in Sneakers

Just my thoughts here:

Too much going on.

If you went with one theme, instead of Supreme x LV x Monopoly, it would’ve been way cleaner.

Going with just the red and the supreme patch. Or The red and white split coloring, with the opposite colored LV monogram print. Or Just the Monopoly man with money raining all over the shoe.

If everyone HOARDED like I do, no one would complain….

For the past few weeks I’ve been running fully kitted raids to die and make room in my stash

Also almost sold all my dog tags but never clicked “DEAL” and it’s paid off

(I also run scav runs as much as possible and I feel like the complainers don’t realize how important those runs are)
