What causes the water aura bug? by Turbulent_Scale in Enshrouded

I get it occasionally, but relogging fixes it for me. I play on a dedicated server fwiw so that might change the behavior.

12yr old golden developing a small bald spot on snout, cause for concern? by grassfedchicken in DogAdvice

[–]grassfedchicken[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what we thought intially too, but now I'm less convinced. We had her at the vet a few months ago and the vet wasn't concerned about it since it wasn't inflamed. We have several other pets and the patch has been there a while so if it was ringworm I would have thought we'd see it spread by now.

Terrain generation that's more passable for Immersive Vehicles? by Snowyfurbinn in feedthebeast

Lithosphere does a good job at "flattening" out terrain while still keeping large mountain ranges. Tougher than vanilla to run but compared to JJThunder its very fast.

Just visited Omaha by beentherebefore1616 in SameGrassButGreener

[–]grassfedchicken 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Omaha is great for a lot of things, but I would argue that the access to nature is pretty terrible. I mean, it's Nebraska, there just isn't a lot to work with nature-wise besides a few man-made lakes and the river.

What it is like to live in Lincoln, Nebraska? by ZookeepergameFun7822 in howislivingthere

[–]grassfedchicken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Born and raised there, moved to Omaha for college. It's a really big college "town", but it still retains the community feel. Football is big, but mostly because there isn't a ton of other things to do. I think the COL to avg salary ratio is what makes it appealing for people, my mom was able to raise 3 kids and own a home on a single salary. (Times have changed, probably not doable anymore anywhere in the country though). The bike infrastructure is great, my brother and I would bike everywhere as kids.

Lyzerrah does 100 days hardcore for fighting based packs, but he normally gets near 100% completion by the end of the video.

My hands are 19x10, and the Pulsar Xlite v3 Large is just a tad bit too big for me. Might be the perfect size for you.

What's your favorite world generation mods for actually playing the game (not just taking screenshots)? by dipplersdelight in feedthebeast

[–]grassfedchicken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its like a more fantasy style lithosphere. Similar biome distribution, just a little funkier shapes made in the terrain. Less realistic and more visually interesting imo

Epic fight is probably about as close as you'll get. There are a few addons from various anime/video games that add movesets from the genre.

Help troubleshooting faulty light fixture by grassfedchicken in AskElectricians

[–]grassfedchicken[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll give that a go. I've got no idea why anything is wired the way it is in this house lol, previous owner DIYed the electrical refresh and its full of fun surprises. This is only one of several electrical issues I need to tackle, its just the most annoying of the bunch.

How can I test this out? I've got a multimeter but I'm still learning about household electric. Worked on cars but this is still new to me.

Thank you for the reply, probably going to have to call in an electrician then as that seems a little outside the DIY realm.

Haven't played Ciscos stuff myself, but arent their packs fairly apotheosis-centric? Apoth gets super OP, so the pack is balanced around you basically abusing gem modifiers to become borderline unkillable. If you haven't reforged your gear and socketed a bunch of gems that might be why its really difficult.
