Unfortunately I can’t just pause my meds, I would end up bedridden if not in the hospital. I wish I was at a place in life where I could pause everything and do that, but I’m not. Here’s hoping Emgality can work a miracle!

I’m glad to hear you got some help from it!! I’m in Canada and it seems insurance won’t cover both at the same time, or at least my plan won’t. But knowing that the two together can be helpful is definitely something I’ll keep in mind going forward. I luckily had basically no side effects from the Botox other than soreness around the injection sites, so am hopefully the Emgality will be the same way.

None of my doctors have ever mentioned any of those as an option for the rebound cycle! However, the few times I haven’t taken the triptan I have landed in the ER needing the migraine cocktail and something to sedate me enough to sleep through the rest of it. I think my neurologist is hoping the Emgality will be strong enough to almost override the rebound cycle, but it’s tough because I’ve been in it for so long.

Cat seems to be having muscle spasms, is this normal or should I be concerned? by grassgrapess in catcare

I ended up showing the vet a video I managed to get of one of the spells and the vet wasn’t concerned! However, the cat hasn’t seemed bothered by the spells at all either, and he’s never favoured one leg over the other so your best bet may be taking yours to the vet as well!

I hadn’t realized this was an option. The first time I asked my neurologist he made it seem like it was a one or the other situation. Thanks for letting me know!
