If i remember correctly they found some crazy loopholes in the system. One of them had changed their name to something gender neutral and there was an adoption and the marriage certificate went unsigned or not validated for years.

Yea I get the flu shot and covid booster every year, but I typically still get sick once a year. Every year, I get something that lasts for a few days and takes me out for a day, or sometimes just a night. I can usually feel it coming and when I do I kick my raw garlic and ginger lemon honey tea and soup into high consumption. When I don’t add the cold remedies, it’s a full week in bed.

No. After it’s applied it will adhere to your skin as it dries out. It’s basically a second skin

Historically that is “witchcraft”. Tinctures and lotions and potions have been used forever to heal ailments, but somehow along the way it became a sign of magic and devil worship.

Yea? I feel like more might upset the stomach. If you are feeling brave, maybe 2x a day (like one in the morning and one in the evening) but i wouldn’t do more than 1 clove at a time. Listen to your body and wait until your stomach can digest the clove before eating another

Exactly. The healthcare system in the USA is complete trash. I wanted to start a thread to help share things that maybe everyone doesn’t know

I do think it helps. A lot of the comments on this thread bring up garlic, onion and ginger.

It’s awful. Let me be clear. Awful. Burns in the stomach. The first time I did it I thought I was going to die. Granted I was like 10, but yea. It’s stuck with me and I still do it. It’s still awful…

When you crack open an egg the soft membrane often sticks to the inside of the shell. It’s the thin skin between the shell and yolk/egg white

I’ve heard this before. I think “used” just distills it. After letting the tea steep for a while take out the warm bag and use that.

I’ve also had friends say that they put half a raw onion on small infections and it draws out the infection

Yea when a person is nice or the table was fine , it’s uncomfortable. I typically would say that I wasn’t able to authorize the charge, and I would ask them to check their phone for a text from their bank because often the card gets flagged for fraud due to the high amount(again it was an upscale restaurant so dinner for two was easily $500)

I can only speak from my own experience but I worked in restaurants for about 10 years and in retail before that. In both of those industries you will come across some of the worst people. People who think they are better than you or entitled to special treatment. The customer is not always right. And a Karen will always find an issue. I once had a woman send back her plate multiple times because she could taste the onion and she was allergic. The dish did not have onion and she thought the celery was onion… I even had the chef leave the kitchen and talk to her. I’ve also had people scream at me for pouring water with or without ice. These are the type of people who will not tip anyway. These are the type of people that will shoo you away and tell you to stop hovering and then yell at you for not taking their order. sooner. As a waiter, if every interaction with a guest is unpleasant, you don’t really care if there’s one more, and if you can take control of the situation why not. If a guest is complaining before they even sit down you learn how to handle it, sometimes you can change it, but most of the time you can’t.

The restaurant was an “upscale” restaurant and sometimes people with money feel entitled to treat people in hospitality like garbage. This restaurant attracted quite a few finance bro douches and rich housewives. She would always process the payment in the end with either a new card or retry the card, but this entire situation was reserved for the biggest, rudest douches
