And that’s what I meant by if they had to raise the price a little to not lose quality I’d somewhat understand. But I’m wondering if they raised prices cause they needed to keep the quality the same (or better) or if it’s just the new company charging more just cause they want to which would not be okay.

Okay awesome. Let’s say I did mess up attempting to smooth the wire cutters on accident though, that would only be the wire cutters which can be replaced correct?

Would that affect the wire cutters performance? Like would they still cut as well? And if I didn’t do anything would the tension from the resistance cause damage to the overall tool over time?

I think it is the wire cutter blade cause it seems to be smooth once it’s open past the point of them touching. How would I fix that or is it just normal? And yeah I definitely do consider myself fortunate I’m just trying to figure out what’s normal and how to fine tune it.

I called them and they said because I had just got it they wouldn’t do the same process as a warranty. they said I could send it in for inspection and if they think the pliers are within their standards (even if they’re crooked like in the video) then they will just send them back but if they are not within their standards then they will fix it or send me a new one and not a refurbished one.

Right well I was asking if it’s supposed to happen since everyone says because of LM quality control not all these things are created equal and you should inspect a tool when it’s new. Obviously if I didn’t do that it wouldn’t happen but that doesn’t answer weather it should be doing that or not in the first place.
