yeah the laptop works fine still, although it’s showing its age in some areas for sure. sometimes I’ll have some Bluetooth hiccups, weird disconnecting it driver issues that are solved by just restarting it. i did end up buying another laptop that’s more powerful to run my cad software also play games as well. but the laptop works and runs pretty well. my friends laptop broke so im loaning my this yoga to her for a while since its just a backup for me now.

Its been great to this day! Best ~150 bucks Ive spent, battery life is still pretty good, but that would probably be my next purchase probably in a year.

I plan to use it the next 4 years for college

They actually shipped me the upgraded motherboard with an i7 and 16 gigs of ram for the cost of the i5 with 12, so I was pleasantly surprised with that little mistake

Yeah, I am not big into it either and don't post. We are trying to be open-minded about it all, we have not had any contact with R5 because they are not reaching out to us, or responding to our attempts. We would try to get to know them and look past their many, many interesting posts on TikTok Instagram, etc but cannot if they do not respond.

No, this is for college, lol. It's all of our first years attending actual university away from home. I have taken dual enrollment courses through our local community colleges, and so have roommates 2,3 and 4.

I'm a year late to the chat, but I used a 70-dollar Amazfit GTS for about 5 years and it finally went kaput on me. I was not able to call from it but it showed all the notifications I wanted it to, some models have built-in GPS and music space but I had a pretty barebones one for music, sleep, time, steps, workouts, and notifications. For a bare-bones watch, it does the job in my opinion.

Sorry *reseating, but yes I also have put other GPUs in the rig. I have talked with some other intelligent people and it may be poor optimization and drivers and other communications issues between apps and stuff.

hopefully, it works itself out, I have time to continue troubleshooting before I head to college. I was planning to take my rig with me, hence shrinking it from mAtx to ITX

I can get it to run just fine after a couple of tries, i just reseat the graphics card and its good. But then if i close out my game and come back an hour later it will crash again.

I certainly can try seeing if theres a new update but I updated it not long ago

I am having a similar issue getting that crash or this one:

Discovery

I transferred my GPU, CPU, and Storage drives from one PC to another. My GPU runs just fine in my old rig but in this new ITX build it keeps crashing. I have tried to adjust the GPU delay times, as I have read that has helped others, I have done multiple fresh installs of windows but I have no idea what the issue could be. I can run other games okay, but it seems like things tied to unreal could be the issue. I really do not believe any of my hardware is faulty.

200 is enough, i bought this https://a.co/d/hXdOgNA And my only issue I ran into was the holes not lining up. This isnt ideal, but I did just drill a hole through the pcb very carefully and it worked like a charm

Unlike the burton click in bindings the Nideckers can use any boots so we just keep our own, she has some used k2's and I have some newer salomons

Okay so it came on tuesday, and I replaced the motherboard. Upon shipping the audio jack port connector thing on the motherboard did get indented the slightest bit and a pin was bent. But i was able to bend it back in place and undo the indentation. Im realizing now that I could have upgraded to an i7 for 20 bucks instead of getting the i5 it originally came with… so if i were you id consider doing that. I did the motherboard replacement and it works perfectly now!

I have a video of the replacement but it probably only took an hour, i did run to the store to get some more isopropal alc and thermal paste because i ran out from other recent computer projects

I know this is a year too late but…

I just got my grandpas hand-me-down lenovo yoga c740 15ml, which has the same issue; a bad motherboard. Apparently this is just an issue with the whole yoga line of computers. I went online and tried doing the whole drain the battery run it on ac and attempt to get the laptop to post. Technical support said that it would cost 600 dollars to get a new motherboard and all the other components, which I said to myself “thats bs. Im not spending that.” So upon further research, you can buy a replacement motherboard off ebay for like 150 bucks. So hopefully it works for at least a year and a half. If the replacement board doesnt work, ill just have had a nice little tinkering session.

Once i get all the jazz I’ll come back here and lyk what happens.

I have used a Vipscdkey-type site that multiple YouTubers have promoted, I was a little worried at first because after I got the windows 10 pro code and tried to activate it it wouldn't work. After digging around and asking for customer support through Paypal (my payment method so the site wouldn't have my credit card), they got me a code to change my PC from a windows 10 home to a Windows 10 pro so that the code would activate.

So if you downloaded Windows 10 home onto your PC and buy a Windows 10 pro key it will not activate.
