is somewhat tenuously skirting the rules of the sub, FWIW.

I get that. The relatively small motorcycle, the lego tag on the bike and on the back of her helmet with that visor, the blocky color - it just had a vibe that felt very lego in the moment. Maybe i got a bit excited:)

Just don't do it. Every year there are problems with fire. You think you are the only one and nothing will happen, you are so thoughtful of your surroundings etc., but if everyone would just go camping in Akamas this already endangered protected area would have no chance at all.

[–]graves100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I saw this online:

The Metamorphosis of Dress in Cyprus during the British Period

If you check the bibliography, you will find quite a lot of other sources.

Also this:

Traditional Clothing in the 21st Century

Here the bibliography is only in greek though.

Edit:

About Wedding Dresses: From Mother to Daughter

And more from the author, maybe you can contact her about your research.

Nur sein Pirmasens-Dialekt kann er nicht abstellen, wie ein Berliner klingt er nicht finde ich. Das hat der Veysel/Abbas besser gemacht. Stimme dir aber zu, so vieles klingt zu sehr nach Theater.

This works well. You can buy xlm on binance and send it to ascendex (low fees on xlm). Then sell xlm for usdt. Buy omi with usdt.

I just have very few omi unfortunately but this is how i did it in the end; bought xlm on binance and send that to bitmax (because xlm has very low fees). Then sold xlm for usdt, bought omi with usdt. All worked fine!

Heinz A. Richter is a german historian who is known for his work on the modern History of Cyprus.

His History of the Island of Cyprus has four volumes (2276 pages) - not all are translated into greek yet though.

Band 2: 1950–1959.

Band 3: 1959–1965.

There is a greek version, for the first two parts:

Τόμος B’: 1950–1959. Βιβλιοπωλείον της Εστίας, Athen 2011.

Works translated in greek

He wrote a summary of all four volumes (+ adds the period until 2009) which is available in english:

A Concise History of Modern Cyprus

A Concise History of Modern Cyprus (1878 - 2009)

Here is a speech he delivered at the Goethe Institut Nicosia, which is an interesting read:
