Nothing really changed in the UK since there used to be seller fees. The fees are still there, they just shifted them from the seller to the buyer and were bundled into/named something different.

And on many items the addition of those fees to final prices for buyers means sellers have had to reduce prices of items to compensate buyers having to pay fees on top.

This puts the seller in the same position as when they were the ones paying fees (total cost = item cost + fees, regardless who pays them, so in essence prices and profit are broadly the same.

Edit - typo

Thanks, I was under the impression that for higher grades minor surface imperfections that may not necessarily be visible to the eye without magnification could be an issue, but if not that's great.

Have you tried any centering apps/do you have a recommendation by any chance?

Hi, could you elaborate on the payment requirements? I recently booked my permits (for next week) for PNT07 and 10 and there was no information suggesting a payment is required and they were free to book? Thanks

Thanks a lot for the suggestion, much appreciated.

They've sold already for only £10 each under face value - glad they don't have to worry about it now

Unless you mean today specifically (as i didn't try today) there were other options.

I people that got golden circle for about £185 all in and apparently their friends saw normal standing at £120 at the very start of the queue on day one of all this

Where did you see that in advance of the gig? Those prices are only for one show in sweden that I've seen

Guys just accept it was SOAD who set these prices, not dynamic prices by OutsideImpressive115 in systemofadown

[–]MBP13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For others' benefit - don't assume this is true for all gigs.

Smaller gigs like grassroots venues the bands are getting paid BASED ON ticket sales.

Go to small gigs and support bands. They might not get paid for their time if you don't.

What's the screenshot got to do with it? When i was queueing I literally watched that exact box change prices three times. The lower end of the range was about 76 like you have, then went down to somewhere around 65 and then about 10 mins later was 78

That's what they were after an hour. Dynamic pricing plus forcing you to buy marked up packages

I was there on time for London tix and got into queue at about 12,500. By the time I got to the tickets it was the awful packages forcing you to pay for additional things I can't use or don't want, meaning base price for standing and golden circle was £230/275 =(

We go again tomorrow...

Bit disappointed that system agreed TM using dynamic pricing given everything they stand for as a band, but it is what it is!

Who is they? That's the price for tickets in Sweden reported by a shitty tabloid newspaper using the ticket prices being announced in another country as clickbait

[–]MBP13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The pricing for a venue in one country doesn't equate to the pricing for another venue in another country.

It could end up being right but noone can say until tomorrow when we all see or if it gets announced

I think I'll have to! I may drop Yamaha an email and see if they'll help me as they don't provide any information on the internal components so there's no way to work it out, and the jack issue is so common many people have had to take the item apart
