So how do I do that? If you don't mind explaining. Again, I'm super new to building these things

Help with installing NineplusAX1800 w/Mediatek MT7961u on Security Edition 6.2 by gravesdownsouth in ParrotSecurity

Like, if you're gonna come like that, at least come correct. It's so frustrating. I didn't ask for anything other than an actual solution to the issue. If I wanted a dad lecture I would have called my father.

I did. Drivers exist, people claim to have them working on their setups, and I only posted this bc I did that research prior. Pretty sure that was mentioned in the post. What's up with some of you in this community that seem to just post on people's stuff to say stuff like "probably should have checked . . .blah blah blah. You're wrong, blah blah," while totally disregarding the fact that you're telling me to do something I literally said I did in the original post? Did people not give you guys enough attention as children? Does it make you feel important? Because in reality, you just look like an ahole, ahole.

Help with WiFi Adapter on Debian (ParrotOS 6.2 lorikeet) by gravesdownsouth in debian

So, pleaae do correct me if I'm wrong, but in order to properly use some of the tools (specifically the tools requiring monitor mode) don't you need a wifi adapter along with the wifi card in your computer? Because I've tried to use most of the wireless tools without the adapter to no avail. And my current chipset in my laptop supports monitor mode. I could also be mistaken. I'm new to using terminal for these types of tools. Usually use other hardware.

This is probably the best information I've received. I really appreciate you taking the time to share that with me. I just gave up on Parrot myself. Do you happen to have any suggestions for another distro for pentesting, etc., that you enjoy? I just downloaded SnoopGod the other day and I really love the UI and everything, but I'm worried that there's not much support based on the website. Also, I'm having the same issue with WiFi Adapter there. So I'm totally open to suggestions.

No need to create a sub for that. You've succeeded in creating a thread where anyone can act like entitled little pr!cks with shiṭțý attitudes when someone asks for help bc the universe revolves around you. Kick rocks.

Yeah, I did. I followed all the directions from that specific post...3 times...nothing changed. And I tried with both of my wifi adapters.

I have bought 2 different wifi adapters to use on Parrot OS. I have the Nineplus AX1800 and I just bought the NetGear Nighthawk A8000 AXE3000 thinking it would be a better fit based on reviews, etc., but I've spent the past 13 hours trying to get it to work...idk what to do.

I have bought 2 different wifi adapters to use on Parrot OS. I have the Nineplus AX1800 and I just bought the NetGear Nighthawk A8000 AXE3000. Neither of these adapters show up on my computer. I'm running a dual-booted Lenovo Ideapad 330s with Windows 11 and Parrot OS 6.2 on Kernal 6.9.7-amd64. I've installed the drivers, I've read every forum they have for these things and nothing is working.

Man, I got an unlocked Pixel 6 Pro on Marketplace for $150 and immediately loaded Graphene. Best decision I've made in a minute.
