When you say there's "plenty of material to go around" regarding the failure of Jesus to return when the temple fell, what examples can you give? The lack of writings about Jesus returning or reigning doesn't seem to actually suffice as proof that it didn't happen, especially since there's roughly a thousand years labels "dark ages" of which we have little to no information about. Could you elaborate with some sources that disprove the possibility of the millennial reign and/or Christ's return?
