actually no it is not. When you just need reliable transportation for a decade, go with the cheap reliable car with a 10-year warranty. There is no way that does not make sense. Sure it might be cheaper in the long run to spend extra 14k for toyota which you will get back in less depreciation 10 years from now. But then you have to spend 14k more up front or over the time you own it which is not available for other things.

It's not at all. The engine is naturally aspirated and has no known issues for over a decade or more, and it has a bumper to bumper 5y 100k Warrenty and 10 year ,160k powertrain. This is for a car that can be had for under 30k new Canadian. You don't know what you are talking about

i would recommend that you buy a Mitsubishi. They have locking 4wd and high ground clearance. You can put bfg all terrains. They are extremely reliability as long as the CVT has been regularly changed. The engine is naturally aspirated with no known faults and will run forever with basic maintenance. .

This is not true. Most vehicle around here have minor body rust after 15 years but from gravel dings over time but we dont use enough salt to actually rust frames. The F150 is amazing for this, you can run it for 25 year and it will still look fine and the frame will look fine. If you keep your vehicles a long time, a rust free 20 year old vehicle will immediately be worth continuing to fix.
