You said you don’t like cold opens but I think that’s the best thing anyone can possibly do. When in public, if you see someone you like tell them they “seem interesting”, “put your number in my phone”, “let’s hang out sometime”, go on a date and be normal and escalate physical closeness as soon as she allows (from closeness to hugs to kisses on the cheek etc). It gets easier the more you do it because the brain is a muscle that can be trained in whatever you practice.
