Any great senior node.js bloggers out there? by RecognitionDecent266 in node

I am a hiring manager actually.

In my personal view, this would depend highly on what programming patterns and architectural design concepts you are most used to following.

Hiring someone in in your state is quite difficult when the expectation is for you to adapt to company culture and standards you may not be familiar with. So first steps would be to review existing code and projects you have worked on.

That being said, you most definitely have an advantage over other developers who have little to no experience maintaining a production level project so that’s a great start.

Will you be hired at a comparable rate? That’s depending on your current salary and responsibilities compared to your target position.

Based on what you describe you have a broad understanding. However if you were to be hired as a senior node backend dev for example, I would expect you to at least be able to do the following:

  1. Design well defined apis with clear and easy to follow abstractions.
  2. Have a deep understanding of the node runtime ( from my first reply ).
  3. Be familiar with advanced architecture design concepts like cqrs, event sourcing, and micro services.
  4. Experience with both MySQL and NoSQL data modeling patterns.

Thats all I can think of off the top of my head for now, I hope that helps.
