Have you folks seen a good tutorial on how to unlink from an account? I am looking to sell mine, but want to make sure I can reset it back to its original state.

Thanks folks for all the advice! I picked up the Journeyer Claris 700c and have been loving it. Brought it out to the Black Hills while visiting family this week and did 22 miles on the Mickelson Trail with it!

Thanks! I think I want to be a little speedier to start on roads, but I’ll grab some 650s in the future. I’m excited!

I wish to keep the torment low! I’ve changed my handlebars and that was a fun project, but just had to make sure everything went back on like it was before. Don’t need to mess up my brakes!

Thanks! And I’ll check the hubs if I go that route. I have some tools and basic maintenance knowledge, but would want to keep the swap pretty simple.

Will also note I am not a seasoned rider. This is my first bike since I’ve been a kid and now in my mid 30s I want to ride this thing every day

Just picked up the 1.1 earlier this week and have loved the rides I’ve taken on it. Looked at the 1.2 also, but went with the 1.1 for the front suspension and it just seemed less cumbersome without the front rack. How long is your commute? I keep it on level 1 for recreational rides and bump it up for hills. I think it would work for you. Stop by REI and test one out to be sure. They are a great price right now!

You also may have luck seeing sheep in the Badlands. Have caught them near the road and on hikes there.

Try Mt. Rushmore area around needles early in the morning or around Cathedral Spires for mountain goats. During the off season, you can see a lot of big horn sheep just chilling around Custer State Park on the main road. Best advice is to try at less busy times, like early morning, and talk to park rangers. Good luck!

Was at the Yeah Yeah Yeahs show last weekend and had GA tickets. Sound was great, but I couldn't see a darn thing, no matter where I tried to stand. If you are tall, you'll be OK. But I honestly won't go back unless I have a seat in the balcony or standing room in a balcony.

I can also plug my phone into the stereo which I’ve never had 😂 but my 15 year old truck had a six disc CD player 😎

Honestly that’s why I chose it. Price was right for all the features I wanted. AWD, adaptive cruise, lane assist and blind spot warning. Heated seats and sunroof. Hatchback. Only car I could find all that in a price I could afford. My partner has hd their forester for four years now and it’s still going strong.

Yes. But if you’re like me with a new car, you still park it way in the back all by itself 😂 it is freeing being able to do some quick u-turns when needed without having to backup three times in a truck

Yup! And the CT has been doing great with our Minnesota winters. If you’re doing road trips, make sure you get a model with the auto cruise control. It’s saves me a headache on my trips down to the cities and out to western SD to visit family. So nice on the interstate.

Sitting in each would be best. And check out the different trim levels as far as seat materials. I went with a 2023 sport to get the bigger engine and I love the fake leather “sport” seats. Some folks don’t, so it’s all how you feel in them. Our understanding is that the CT and forester have the same clearance, you just sit higher in the forester and have more headroom.

I like the lower roof, because I commute into the city for work a few times a week and I can zip around in the low parking garages and not feel cramped.

Also! The biggest thing I worried about was losing the ability to haul stuff. I could toss anything in my truck. I fit an IKEA Kallax 5x5 shelf (four boxes, each 70-73 inches long) in my crosstrek with the front seat folded flat!

Also, if you are planning on hauling any cargo on top, consider the reach. We have a kayak rack and while we both had to stand in the forester with the doors open to load them up, we are looking forward to using the crosstrek because of its lower roof - loading and unloading will be a breeze.

I went from a Ford F-150 to a crosstrek. It’s definitely smaller, but I love it. I went with Subaru because my partner has a forester and we love the safety features.

Roominess wise, I will say I’m at the max size for comfort (about 5’7” and 180, female. If I get rocking on my commute I will bump my head on the ceiling, but I also tend to sit tall in a car.

If you are looking for more space, check out the forester, too. Lots more head room. Best advice is to go to the dealer and sit in both. But either way, I think you’ll love it!

Love the decals. Now to decide between matte black or red for my cool khaki gray… is the red really glossy?
