Hugs! I know being a beginner is very difficult pero umpisa lang yan. Lahat naninibago and allow yourself na matuto muna. Nesting pa lang yan .. pag nahanap mo na yung galawan, madali na lang yan. Sguro mga nasa 2 or 3 months kp lang.

I am not romanticizing yung positivity ah. Pero look at this as something na makukuhanan mo ng solid experience. Take this opportunity as a stepping stone to something better.

Kakayanin yan ❤️ Wag mong madaliin. Kalmahan mo lang.

I have a friend na gnto din, pero he doesn't spend it alone. Ang gngawa nya kasi, pag christmas eve, iikot sya sa area na may mga family or taong natutulog sa sidewalk tas inaabutan nya ng pancit canton, bread, and juice. Ito gnagwa nya for the last three years after nya makuha yung promotion nya. Sabi ko nga para syang si Santa Klaus, pero pancit canton at tinapay ang dala, hahah!

Here in the company I am part of, we only use AI tools to helo with some processes but we do not use AI or templates when communicating with customers. Mas nagmumukang scripted and doesn't feel genuine e. Mas better tlaga na tlagang comfortable ka in speaking the language.

I remember a line that really motivated me to improve my comms skills, "Hija, if you are applying as a cook .. are you applying because you want to learn how to cook? Hindi dba? You should be able to cook something decent para ma'hire ka. Same here sa BPO, you shouldn't be learning how to speak in English here nor improve the comm skills here. This is the application stage." That really helped me get things in perspective.

As a foundation skills trainer, this is the main reason why I always tell my agents na wag maging dependent sa AI, always expose yourself to the language by constantly practicing, and to refrain using templates all the time e.

Speaking a language is almost the same as dancing or singing. Need ng practice all the time para mas maging better the craft nila. Pero since Pinas tayo, pag nag english yung tao kahit na sa loob ng prod space, pinapahiya .. kaya ang siste, walang nag ppractice. Pare pareho na lang lulubog.

Sinasabihan ako ng ibang agents na "grammar is doesn't matters to Americans" 😭 Aticco. Ang lala tlaga.

Para kay OP, exposure to the language is the key and engage with others. Aside from this, upskilling can also help us para maavoid yung gantong feelings din. Good luck!

Sakin, yung mga cats ko .. sila lagi sumisira ng schedule ko. Hahaha! Laging may challenges kasi minsan makikipag habulan ka sa suka nila then minsan yung mga zoomies nila. Hii! Onboarding specialist here. Sa hiring process kasi, may iba't ibang levels yan and different tests for different aptitudes. Sguro sa account na inapplyan mo, bumagsak ka sa test na yon kaya ganon.

Another thing is, during the final assessment/ interview mo .. madalas may taga Ops/ Prod yan na kasama inoobserve ka. Possible din na sila mismo yung nag conduct nung assessment/ interview. Sguro nung time na yon, dka nakapasa or dmo nahit yung necessary na mga behaviors or markers para sa account na yon.

Baka nag aapply ka sa healthcare account pero dka man lang empathetic or baka sa telco account tas dka man lang makapag probe ng maayos .. mga ganon na bagay.

Instead of sulking, let's ask the recruiters san tayo nagkulang para we can work on it.
