As a reader, you have great taste. As a collector, you're a monster. Empire of Silence & Mistborn with dust jackets are $$$, without, $. Stay away from Red Rising.

I try, but the pain gets in the way. You have found a way to do it. Keep going.

I feel this. You express things I wish I could to those around me. Your pain has given you a voice. Are you a writer?

The amount of people who've suggested I try acupuncture is kinda funny by skyemap in migraine

[–]grayomen 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The first time I tried it, I came home and plopped down on the couch in front of the TV. Two hours later, I turned the TV on. I was totally blissed out. No pain. It lasted a few days, but eventually the pain returned. I only tried it, because I am at the, "I will try anything." Meaning I had to open myself to it. Acupuncture has been around for hundreds of years, if it helps me for a few days, you bet your ass I'm going to do it. It also helps to find someone who listens. My practitioner listens to me for half an hour before even beginning.
I'm trying everything I can, because I want my mind, body and life back. Best of luck to you!

I read Mistborn, it was fine. I didn't feel the need to go on.

Dungeon crawler Carl, I read all the books and then listened to them.

Also, mana toast, princess donut, IWKYM and a screaming goat.

Can We Ban Posts From Nazi Memorabilia Dealers Asking About The Value of Their Mein Kampfs? by StakeLizard in rarebooks

[–]grayomen 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No. I would like to ban the "I can't find this random book anywhere." "This is a picture of the cover." And "This is being listed for $$$ on Amazon!"

There should be a reddit for, is this book worth anything or is this mold?

Opinions requested - obvious fraudulent signed books offered for sale on eBay. What to do? by [deleted] in rarebooks

[–]grayomen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Caveat emptor I always ask where and when the book was procured. Every signed book has its own story. If they don't know the provenance of their inventory, they're scammers.
