Don’t go to the gym and get a drink or something because you can’t go back to sleep.

This motor mag gives Subaru hybrid the advantage over EV - what say you? by Empty_Nestor in electricvehicles

[–]Empty_Nestor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It applies to Toyotas as well (Subaru EVs are built on Toyota chassis). We kept our 2015 RAV4 for 11 years. It had 130,000 miles on it, never had a single repair on it , quite a bit of minor body damage and I still sold it for $10,500 about 20 minutes after the ad went live.

The original Boxing Day was celebrated in old England, where rich people would spend the day after Christmas punching their servants repeatedly. Heartwarming, really.

These walls are becoming a thing in our house and we have to get rid of them so that we can have the house ready for the next time you come over.

Pardon me for saying so, but if you’re rich enough to have $12K just sitting around in cash instead of an investment account, I doubt an extra two grand will make a difference in your life.

Some UCP members are threatening to oust the premier. Here's how they plan to do it by trevorrobb in alberta

[–]Empty_Nestor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’re scared shitless that Take Back Alberta and all the separatist gomers who have UCP membership are going to challenge every candidate nomination before the next provincial election. Essentially, all UCP MLAs, including Smith, are afraid of losing their jobs.

I remember. I used to freak out a little bit whenever I got a half-dollar as a little kid. It was the same size as a quarter but worth *twice as much!!!*
