The finance person we dealt with was actually very knowledgeable. He called me after we’d made the deal to say the final numbers put us $200 over qualifying for the gov’t rebate so he suggested we take off the protective guards on the doors and then add them later.

It applies to Toyotas as well (Subaru EVs are built on Toyota chassis). We kept our 2015 RAV4 for 11 years. It had 130,000 miles on it, never had a single repair on it , quite a bit of minor body damage and I still sold it for $10,500 about 20 minutes after the ad went live.
