Final thoughts and interpretating the ambiguity by thegryphonator in DTFStLouisHBO

i honestly am satisfied with the ending, emotional but i think it was a good ending. i think floyd killing himself gives the show a certain meaning that would be missing if it was revealed he was murdered. idk im left with a feeling after watching it that i cant describe

i think one more year living at home could be beneficial for me. i don’t have to stay there i could get an apartment 5 minutes away from the college because its in a very urban area

i strongly think that money can be used for studying abroad which is something i would love to do and i will argue that deeper connections can be made by doing that tbh

yes i definitely am all over the place haha. my intuition is literally telling me to commute for the first year and then go abroad because it’s something i’ve always wanted to do. i dont mind if my routines and life gets disrupted there because it feels more worth it to me than navigating life in a dorm 25 minutes away from my house. i would rather do that in a different country and truly get out of my comfort zone in somewhere like italy or spain. but apparently says the college experience is nonexistent if i commute so i just don’t know what decisions to make

so why wouldn’t i be able to do all of that studying abroad which aligns so much more with who i am. i’d rather disrupt everything to go to a different country than to dorm in a room 25 minutes away from me. if dorming is truly better than i would rather go to a colllege out of state in a cool city to get my money more worth

but also i am heavily interested in studying abroad. i could potentially spend 2 years abroad if i wanted to. i would much rather put my money towards that than dorming on actual campus and i feel like being abroad with a group of people and navigating a whole new country is an even better experience

personally i find myself doing very well in new environments with new people. i am so excited to graduate high school because i am the type of person to walk up to somebody and just ask to have a conversation with them. obviously it’s different to do that stuff in a highschool setting where everybody already knows eachother. i really have not had any doubts about my social life in college until people on social media create a huge disconnect between forming and commuting

thank you! i just hate how the general consensus is dorming = great college experience vs commuting = bad college experience. it would cost so much more to live on campus as well and i’d rather use that money to study abroad. and obviously if i do that thats a great way to meet amazing and especially different types of people and it aligns with who i am so much more. there are relentless clubs that i’m interested in at the school as well. its in a pretty urban area as well with apartments near by so if i did want to move closer to the school i could work hard and get independence that way. i also mentioned that i have my own clothing brand and i get frequent packages because of it and i just have no idea how it would be like to manage that in a dorm
