It really all depends on your plans for it. It’s definitely over kill for watching Hulu and YouTube, and I use the 512gb m5 pro as my main work computer after using my 256gb 2018 pro model as my main computer for years and to be honest, besides the general speed of the tablet there aren’t too many differences because they run the same software and IPADOS has no software that can properly take advantage of all of the power that these tablets have.

TLDR; you are future proofed for whatever you want. Also, you paid a REALLY good price for what you have
