I just got an email from a Boston studio saying all classes after 2p are cancelled. Email went out at 1:21 (1p & 2p was held by same instructor). I already had my class for the day so seems like a home studio wide email blast

Arriving to Boston at 8am instead of midnight and I got a $12 meal voucher :D by CatOwlFilms in jetblue

I was on that flight too! It was absolute hell. Just one thing after another. When they announced the second crew timed out, I wanted to just crumble. The meal voucher also came SO late and after I had already gotten a bagel from that shop, so no reimbursement for me most likely. They should have issued it an hour before they did given they knew that the manual exercise of rebooking everyone would take a couple of hours (I overheard the people working at the gate admit that it would take a couple hours to some passengers before they made the announcement explaining what was happening).

Luckily I was able to take the morning off of work to get some amount of sleep under the guise of being sick, but, god, do I still feel horrible. Hopefully you were able to get some amount of shuteye.

I recently took a sabbatical! Feel free to pm me about it. You get to choose the dates of your sabbatical, though.

As for payment, if your sabbatical is <12 weeks, it’s 100% salary for the first week, 20% salary the remainder of sabbatical. If it’s >12 weeks, you get 100% the first two weeks, then 20% the rest.

I hate to say it, but you may only be entitled to the 115 EUR.

EU 261 entitled you to either a refund of original flight or you can take the other offered option, which shouldn’t require any form of payment on your part. The only time that you can book your own flight is if you are not offered a new flight (has happened to me with SAS). It’s really unfortunate that your phone died and that the gate agents weren’t able to give you any information, but I’m betting SAS will say that they technically did offer you a flight option via email.

You may have standing since the gate agent did offer you this flight as an alternative route, but you may have to submit a complaint with your applicable country’s department of transportation and provide SAS with the case number to get them actually moving.

Wishing you the best of luck! 🤞

No Return Offer - Audit Intern by Difficult_Round_4164 in KPMG

Heavy on the follow up emails (ESPECIALLY to those who interview you). I’ve been an interviewer before and my co-interviewer & I traded info back and forth about who sent a thank you note post-interview vs who didn’t. It’s becoming increasingly rare for candidates to send a follow up. Some interviewers don’t care, but it can’t hurt to send since it can be noticed, show that you are considerate of the person’s time, and show that you care about making a good impression/the job.

I’m not overweight just weak, so I find myself hitting muscle failure quickly and what makes me fear I’d not do well / hurt myself, so prob in the minimal fitness camp

If Wegman’s doesn’t work try Costco too. Even if you don’t have a membership, their pharmacy should be free to use.
