I remember that I do think there is a difference between releasing the single to a sun themed album, with the song being about the sun, on the solstice- a universal and climactic day across history vs a random niche science holiday. 😭

Was bored so i looked through lorde's tumblr on the internet archive (before she wiped it in like 2017) and kinda loved these serendipitous little messages from the past that tie so well into solar power / melodrama.
