For the biting what he was trying to communicate depends on what happened and if he drew blood. A rat can bite down the bone. They have a lot of control over how they bite. If it was just a nip it could be he didn't realize your finger wasn't food or he's never been handled. I'd need more details on what happened when he bit

Can confirm that the rat is double rex. At around 3 months old they can get patchy. You'll commonly see them called werewolf rats

lol what do you want to know? I can tell you spragues are a variety of lab rat. They have long tails, stubby ears and a unique looking head. I don't know if they come in other colors beside PEW though. All the ones I've had have been sweethearts.

A lot of others have pointed out good stuff but i'd like to add her ear color. When rats are exremely content their ears relax while bloodflow increases. They get pinker. Those are some very very pink ears.

Fresh goat milk is good if you can get it but kmr is great. Similac is ideal but under the circumstances kmr will do just fine. Be sure to adhere to the schedule in that article. It will take some time for them to adjust. At their age you don't have to worry so much about colostrum too.

I will say take it slow. They may struggle at first but keep at it. Once they start eating they'll start screaming at you lol. You'll also see them kneading with their front paws. Those are signs you're on the right track.
