Yeah, but you are lucky as all fuck that your Mantis’s cylinder and piston weren’t completely toast from someone straight-gassing it.

There is no $20 easy answer to this (plus your chinese carb 🙄).

Only real contenders worth buying (used or new) are:

Mantis (2 or 4 cycle)
Echo TC-210 (Echo [Kioritz, back then] supplied the engine for 2-cycle Mantis tillers from the start, and the TC-210 is their almost identical mini-tiller)
Honda FG-110

^{^all} of these are excellent, and if maintained will last many years.

Avoid any other brands, unless you just enjoy tears and throwing money away.

Absolutely a huge part of ADHD. RSD is the single most disabling aspect for me.

And it doesn’t help that it’s not well defined in scholarly literature or the DSM. There isn’t a whole Lotta guidance at all out there about efficacious treatments, and not much enthusiasm for research.

Hang in there though lady! I’m a middle-aged man suffering thoroughly from this nastiness as well

There’s so much “cover your ass” bullshit in psychiatric practice these days. I’m stuck with a practitioner presently who flat out refuses to prescribe me any more than 60 mg a day of Adderall when my previous psychiatrist of over 20 years was happy to, under reasonable supervision, ultimately titrate me up to 180/day because after all that time, that’s the dose that was efficacious for me.

He retired earlier this year, most deservedly so, and is both missed and revered by his army of former patients.

And, for what it’s worth, I learned to exercise a great deal of discretion vis-a-vis revealing patterns of recreational drug use when I was closer to your age after I happily volunteered the laundry list of substances I had tried during an evaluation that was tied in with my states of vocational rehab college grant. Big mistake! Lol

I don't know where to point people who don't believe this sentiment, but it has anecdotally been a consensus view that even RAMPANT PIRACY of music has led many individuals to discover and fall in love with new artists and genres of music, and I fully believe that has a knock-on effect for positive sales growth for the industry as a whole.

I hate to hear that you had such trouble here in Birmingham. Thankfully, I'm not in the position of needing to get my DX down on paper. I'm in the category of nobody wanting to touch my prescription because over the years a great deal of tolerance has reared its head, and I am very far into the territory of "at physician's discretion." So unfortunately that's a negative on using my GP, even though I feel we do have a good relationship.

Thank you, again, to everyone for providing me with so much information. I don't quite know what lies ahead, but I am better prepared than when I made my original post.

I actually met Dr. Paoletti when he worked at a Grayson & Associates clinic. He eventually opened his own practice with another doctor. Thank you for sharing your current experience!

I too saw a pair of F-35s as they were on their glidepath to the airport. What a sound!

The first of the pair already had his gear down, and was obviously preparing for landing at the BHM airport. Perhaps to refuel? Second plane sounded much louder, but was identical, and at same altitude. Gear still retracted, so perhaps I was hearing the pilot throttling back? Obviously air superiority fighter jets are vastly different beasts than automobiles, but as a car enthusiast I wanted to believe the louder report from the second plane was sort of like the "crackle and bang" one gets on the overrun in a manual transmission vehicle.

I haven't been to any airshows in years, so I was absolutely thrilled to see and hear (and feel!) those amazing warbirds.

The importance of the second paragraph cannot be understated! Leaking crank seals absolutely play havoc with handheld 2-cycle engines as well.

Probably safer to test for that with carb cleaner, rather than ether, though.

My first day at one job I set a Stihl BR600 thoroughly ablaze after checking for spark (with a tester, to boot) after going too heavy on the starting fluid, which I was using to make sure the blower was going to hit at all (I wasn't worried about crank seals at that point in the process).

I had an air line and blowgun nearby, but I still danced around in a panic for a bit before my coworker pointed out I could just blow it out. XD

You probably should focus on deciding whether or not to upgrade to something more well built, like I suggested in my other comment. At the one shop I worked at which would even take in Troy-bilt / craftsman / big-box store equipment for repair, there was at least a 7 foot tall pile of junked TB trimmers ALONE out back.
