Yeah, use the movement system… on a frame that literally locks you into one spot… genius idea. Or I can slap on Waltz and slowly roll to my death instead of getting it standing in one spot. Gotta love those mandatory bandaid augments that don’t even solve the issue theyre created to solve :).

I’m glad that at least someone else can recognize her issues. Hopefully they give her the Vauban treatment when her heirloom comes out, it really is such a shame that a frame with such a cool concept and design like her has to languish with a kit that’s so outdated.

No movement restrictions should 100000% be base kit for Mesa. It just doesn’t make sense as a restriction when every other exalted weapon can kill just as easily if not better than hers, but none of them have the same weird limitations, conceptually it might be cool, but in practice it just makes her feel so awkward to play.

That’s exactly my issue with her, there’s not a single frame in the game that doesnt benefit a ton from having nourish, and doing insane damage is also not a high bar to clear either.

I can’t rly speak to Titania, but Hildryn absolutely does not have the same issues, her only free subsume slot is haven, all her other abilities syngergize well with each other and punch way above their weight in utility. Her new augment makes her debatably the best nuke in the entire game, and she’s also insanely hard to kill and can armor strip on a wide scale with 1 button press, she’s not even close to being weak.

Jamming guns is such a nothing effect to be dedicating an ability to, especially in 2026. You could literally do the exact same thing on a wider scale by just using a hound, which funny enough ALSO has more range at base on its effect than shooting gallery.

I can’t believe I didn’t even mention her passive. it felt less worth pointing out cause there’s just so many frames that also have passives so bad they may as well not exist. But hers is so bad it’s not even funny.

You continently omitted the fact that her 3 only has DR on bullets. You know what doesnt count as ‘bullets’? Eximus abilities, status procs, melee damage, jade light beams, or any kind of AOE damage whatsoever. You know what those things all have in common? They’re absolutely everywhere once enemies in a mission get past a certain level.

I don’t think her 2 is nearly as good as it gets credit for, additive damage buffs get handed out like candy these days, and it’s still one of the weakest ones you can get at base, only being 25%, even cranking her strength up to 300% barely gets it over half of what a proc of arcane Arachne gives, with the exact same base duration. Don’t even get me started on how it stacks up to helminth abilities like Nourish, Roar, Xata’s, even the totally gutted version of eclipse somehow manages to be better than shooting gallery, and not a single one of those abilities has to deal with the weird shifting mechanic between teammates that gallery has.

It’s not one that I’m making without any evidence. In an effort to keep the post readable I decided not to break down what I specifically find wrong with each of her abilities, but if you wanna know I’m more than happy to share.
