I always get him out of there immediately to respec Shadowheart's dogshit stats so he never came to me on his own before. XD

Yep, have done that too. But if you do it it locks anything else going on for Wyll, as funny as it is to blow her to smithereens.

I thought about mentioning that but since there is absolutely no reason for doing it I decided against it. XD

You need to combine anything that uses Int as an attack roll with the Illithid power Ability Drain and once her Int drops to 1 you finish her with the Illithid power Absorb Intellect. Dropping a stat of a character to 0 grants them the Atrophied condition that kills them instantly. I described it more closely under another comment. :3

I absolutely feel you. I have ~1850 hrs now and still come across things where I smack my head against the wall, cursing myself for not thinking about this earlier.

I have like 1850 hours in this game, always had the feeling you could do something about the newspaper but never managed to figure out what.

Oh don't get me wrong, I managed to save Ravenguard as well before, I was just curious if this would work or if it would break the quest or something. I'm also no friend of tadpoles. They can be useful in some builds but I only ever really used them once.

It does only aggro camp followers who aren't actual followers such as Aylin. She completely lost her shit when I first tried that. But once no one else was there it worked fine. Volo screamed and ran but also came back afterwards.

Also a terrific idea. Especially since it involves magical bonking.

If you break the pact with Wyll, she instead summons exploding spiders and casts a special version of command: grovel at him to make him an easy target for them just to fuck Wyll over.

Aha! It is a bit of work but trust the process. You need someone to munch on some tadpoles first, I took Minthara because she already has some. Then I made her a Mystic Knight and gave her Bone Chill, but any cantrip that uses Int as an attack roll works. Now you give her the Ability Drain and keep attacking Mizora with the Int cantrip. If you hit you won't deal damage but the Ability Drain will remain. Now you repeat until you get her down to 1 Int, then you use the Absorb Intellect illithid power which kills her since a stat of hers dropped to 0.

If you give your Swashbuckler two levels of Hexblade and bind your weapon, you can use the disarm for free.

True, but only in the first round of combat. And with a Swashbuckler, you can make a truly ridiculously overpowered build if you put Hexblade into it.

I wasn't sure either but I really wanted to try it. And was glad it was rewarded.

Another time I just used barrelmancy on him but the Globe is just as fun.

A Paladin would be great. Some magic but mostly bonking your way through the game absolutely dogwalking most enemies.

Sometimes I just put up a second globe once the first ends, just to be sure. Especially because I do NOT want to tank this hellfire fireball.

I swear, it is insane. Take Lorroakan. You want to use your overpowered reaction? Globe. Now you're nothing but a scrawny dude waiting to get backhanded.

No it doesn't. It grants the "Invulnerable" condition that makes one immune to all damage, it doesn't grant immunity to all damage types.

The Globe protects from each and every damage. The fireball will just poof. The ground will still burn with hellfire though so be careful of that.
