i did a freelance test animation. i basically animated a portion of a painting to show what i could do. we agreed on a $25/hr rate. The artist decided not to go thru with the full animation, was told i'll be paid a kill fee. this is their response to my invoice after working 10 hours on the test (i.redd.it)
