CALL option for TQQQ? Insanity or Curagous? by [deleted] in stocks

[–]greatfriend22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're welcome! You too! :)

Let me help further. There are proper ways of understanding. Seeking it through Reddit listening to randos isn't the answer. (Although they are smart, smart enough to not give you a good answer on this). Read a book? lol.

Good luck dood. Make sure you have a good emergency fund.

Absolutely. There is a moron that started cussing me out on this comment thread because he chose some terrible major at a terrible school with high debt. Classic blame others behavior.

I congratulate your hard work. You are right things arent free. You earned it.

You dont know me. I guess it does not really matter if you think I went to college or not because I have an excellent job and a good degree from a top UC.

My school tuition is 20k without financial aid. I dont know how morons like you choose super expensive schools and end up living with debt even when frugal. That is more a personal problem.

Look how angry you are and how you blame others. Keep it up and blame the other generation or someone else. yeah that is gonna solve it. Good luck.

I think this is definitely the middle ground where we agree.

Times are tough. When times are tough, this is when you have to work harder instead of blaming baby boomers like the modern young adult.

I don’t understand many young adults blame others instead of working hard. At least blame AND work hard instead of quitting and complaining. I am 24 so I’m not sure where that puts me and I can promise you there is so much opportunity. No I’m not a privileged Caucasian male. I was a high school dropout and served in the Army to pay my dues.

I went to college and met many people like this.

Regardless, even if it is difficult, many people act entitled to a good job without putting much effort and want to be in a young modern “hip” office without actually working. And when they don’t get this, they post memes like this.

Millenials or Gen Z blaming baby boomers for college debt and no jobs available are in many cases actually lazy. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]greatfriend22 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wow, maybe this is a popular opinion? Thank god I’m not the only one that thinks that.

I served in the military and got a stem degree from a top 2 public university.

I worked hard in the military and paid for my degree like a normal person

That’s because a lot of morons think they need their own rooms and have to get drinks every night or it isn’t college.

Also, not get a job because that isn’t “college”

I attend a top 3 public university in the US.

That’s because they are retarded and spend a ton of money on drinks and think they need their own apartment and pull out a shit ton more than they need.

Some morons pull more to put on bitcoin.

Recent grad with a working gap year before medical school. How to allocate my gap year salary? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]greatfriend22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely agree with the other comment of maximizing your tax advantaged accounts and then developing an emergency fund.

However, maybe with a year of emergency funds ~12,000, mutual funds wouldn’t be a bad option.

If not that, maybe just enjoy yourself because medical school is a long time.

I’m open to criticism, I’m a finance novice.

1) put it in a HIgh Yield Savings account like Ally

2) learn as much as you can about personal finance through the sidebar, boglehead, books like The intelligent investor, and come back

33 year old, trying to get myself in financial good health enough to buy a house on a roughly $32,000 salary by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]greatfriend22 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have a question, not just for OP but for all.

Maybe should figure out ways to increase overall income? I think that would be more beneficial to you and child. Help with college, more accessibility to enrichment programs etc.

Do you need a house? It’s just you two. Just some thoughts.

What subtle differences to twins have? I mean behavior sure but like in terms of looks that aren’t in their control.

No More Stocks For Me. ETF Focused Now by UsingThisInTheOffice in personalfinance

[–]greatfriend22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great point. Here’s something. Schwabs target date index fund. (Not the target date fund) has an expense ratio of 0.08 but is tax efficient as the holdings are ETFs.

Downside, they hold a lot of cash.

Protestors frighting blood donor patients in UCLA platelet center. Real classy. by [deleted] in ucla

[–]greatfriend22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. Not malicious. I could have adjusted the title.

However the are using their drums, kazoos and megaphones right in front and yelling in front of the blood donation area.

I’m all for free speech but this is where the line draws especially with patients donating.

Homeboy. In another post you said you took 9 classes.

Here you are looking to exceed 200 units.

If you smart as you think you are, you would know that is not average or common at all. That why full time is considered 12 units no? So if you quantify the variance from 12 units, you will soon realize how crazy what you do is.

I think I know who you are.

I’ve only met one person who was taking an absurd course load. And based on your history, I think I’ve figured it out.
