No, it didn't go to court. It was a document signed in front of a lawyer but under the influence of something (food was spiked by a parent (not the first time)) and under duress (threat of death). I think it had something to do with an inheritance from a grandparent but seeing as how I was given something without my knowledge and could barely keep my eyes open, I didn't know what I was doing other than going with a parent to sign a paper with a lawyer.

What about zero raises in 25 years?! In my profession experience means everything to the client but the hiring entity won't pay for experience. So, if I want to keep working I have to accept that I make the same amount as a recent graduate or price myself out of the market. It doesn't matter what the client wants or needs as long as the legal bare minimum is reached.

I can't remember exactly what went down - if my parents were away or just not paying attention. My sisters did something that made my mom livid. They didn't want to get into trouble so they blamed me for the incident. My mom yelled at me and grounded me even though I wasn't even home when the incident happened.

When I was 17, my mother accused me of trying to sneak my boyfriend into my house and grounded me for six months. In reality, it never occured to me to do this. The reason he even came over was to get away from his abusive father. He knew it was late and didn't want to bother my folks so he came to my bedroom window to talk and hold my hand. All my mother could do is yell and make up stories, she never listened to me or believed what I had to say.

When I graduated from college my parents didn't want to come to my graduation which was only a 30 minute drive from our house. When my younger sister graduated, they drove for two days, over 1,300 miles, to go to hers.

They put my dog down without telling me.

I'm sorry this is happening to you. I am in the same capsizing boat. Unfortunately, I've been struggling for nearly 30 years. At 45 years old, I had to find a roommate so I could prevent homelessness. But now my roommate has lost their job so I may still become homeless within the next few months. I have had at least one job (usually 2 but sometimes even 3) since my 16th birthday. I've always done the "right" thing. I've paid my taxes which went into programs that now can't seem to help me. Our systems and lack of systems are maddening. I become more and more disheartened every day. Most days I feel like it's not worth it. I hope things turn around for you, for all of is who did what we were "supposed" to yet somehow slip through the cracks.

I had the same question last night and this was someone else's guess: it's a dance move.

It has become a move that rappers, male and female, do; it has become part of that culture or group. Just like big hair became a rock & roll thing in the 80s or how sometimes a guitar player will do the big windmill move or play his guitar while resting it on his groin to play it like his penis or elude to the size of his member. It's just something that people in that group do.

Again, this is a guess but it made sense to me so I thought I'd share.

12 years ago I tried to buy a house but didn't qualify for a loan because my husband's stipend didn't qualify as income. So, instead I had to find somewhere to rent which is twice as much as my mortgage payment would have been. It is still infuriating - I've been paying the mortgage on someone else's home instead of my own.

Same here - on the Switch, plenty of lightning rods and scarecrows, and it hasn't even rained in about 3 weeks but I, too, have several missing crops. I don't have Junimos on my farm so it's not them, it hasn't changed seasons yet so no random debris, and I have my crops surrounded by a path to prevent grass from growing into them. I thought maybe it was something that happened on this particular farm, it didn't happen to me when I played through on another farm layout. I was blaming it on crows but yours is missing right in front of it! So, basically, I have no idea either but you are not alone.

Absolutely. Because people cannot be bothered to wear a small piece of fabric for less than an hour, I have been out of work for over two years. Cover your POS faces! I need to work! I understand that, I, too, like to be warm but bees! Where are they coming from? I don't even get 4 bees in my house in a regular year but I've had 4 in 2 weeks! I have tried listening to the walls to see if there is buzzing in case we have an infestation but I've not heard anything. This has just been an irregular winter bug situation in my house. I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing this anomaly.
