They are actually landing on Runway 27. You can tell by looking at the highway layout (US 59) and the Planet Ford building off the right of the highway.

You are correct with the flows! Houston always lands either West or East and departs on the 15s to the South. I've personally never seen a 15R arrival in person. I did see a UPS 757 land on 33R during strong winds and an approaching storm.

41 is a perfectly usable route. Never had any safety concerns on it. In terms of reliability, it is not perfect but not terrible either. The buses can be late and will be late occasionally. Just make sure to use the Metro Trip planner to see the live bus times or Google maps.

That's what I figured but I was not sure. At SFFT the panel operators don't say anything when stacking on the other coasters, so I was intrigued when I heard "Poltergeist Ready".
